The Spice & Tea Exchange of Winter Park

My cousin and I went The Spice and Tea Exchange to check out their products. I've been to the store in Mount Dora, but never purchased their teas. My cousin and I brought some loose teas and we were so glad we did. I brought the comfort tea, and tried it when I got home. It was delicious. No need to add any sweetners. This tea has a robust of different flavors; cinnamon, orange, clove, and other spices. Aurora Blue, Blood Orange Smoothie, and Mango Tango herbal teas are delicious and relaxing. They were expensive for a one ounce tin container, but worth every cent. I purchased the igenuiTea tea maker for the first time and loved it. I will most definitely purchase more tea in the future.

Went here today (7/31/23) after wanting to go for a while and it was absolutely amazing! It's like walking on to the scene of a gorgeous movie set with all these different types of teas, spices, seasonings, etc. I got the Beauty Rest and Comfort teas, which both smelled amazing. I also picked up one of their Florida Sunshine seasoning grinders. Smells like Florida sunshine! I even got to get a small cup of Coconut Oolong that tasted so good. Check this place out, it's awesome!

Lovely little gem! Absolutely loved this place!! They not only have lots of teas and spices but also a tea bar and you can try any of the store options! ♥

Such a cute spot! Staff is so welcoming & knowledgeable. You can open any jar & smell what's inside — it's like a perfume aisle for your belly. They also give out free bread samples of olive oil & whatever spices you want to try (eg garlic truffle, house blend, etc). And of course, you can get some tea 😌

This store is heaven for your nose! I visited the Spice & Tea Exchange this weekend for the first time and will definitely be coming back soon. Stephanie was an amazing, super knowledgeable help to navigate the store and make it seem less overwhelming. There are so many eclectic options of spices, teas, salts, rices that you could not find anywhere else. Highly recommend stopping in on your next walk down Park!

The products at The Spice & Tea Exchange of Winter Park are absolute must-haves! The quality of the ingredients for their teas, spices, sugars, salts, and assorted others never miss the mark! I am especially in love with the Florida Sunshine (I think that’s its name) salt blend. The mix of citrus flavours with the Himalayan salt is absolutely wonderful for stir-frys, steak, chicken, soups, and just about any dish that requires salt!

The staff at this location are very helpful and friendly, always willing to help walk you through the different sections of the store, and to help you nail down *just* the right ingredients for your next five-star dish!

Five-star baseline for this review due to the outstanding qualities of this store!

Shopping at this store is total luxury. The quality of the teas and the spices are top notch. I purchased a beautiful cast iron tea pot for my spouse and its a high quality product. The staff were helpful and kind. I would shop at this store again.

Went in yesterday and had a great time. Cassie was very informative and helped me and my boyfriend find what we needed. Her and I talk about recipes and different products we used and she was very pleasant. Will be back!

I love this Tea shop. In addition to tea, they have spices, salts, and sugars. candles and other tea accessories. They are always sampling one of their teas, so be sure to try it. In the back, you can order teas to go. I love getting the mango tango iced and they are very reasonably priced. They have a rewards program and a tea punch card so be sure to get both. The staff are always so nice and knowledgeable. I love just going around the shop and smelling all the great teas and spices. Def go check them out and follow them on Instagram!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff takes as much time as you need to answer questions. I bought their signature Florida Sunshine salt which I tried on trigger fish and it was amazing. It will go great with many proteins such as fish, pork, and chicken. I bet it will even taste great on tortilla chips or popcorn. Can’t wait to try the teas next time.

My boyfriend and I came in a couple minutes before they closed and they made us feel so welcome! Stephanie and Rachel knew everything about their stock. We were looking for a specific blend and right away they directed us to the perfect one. Super great experience and the store has amazing unique things!

I've only ever been to the location in Alexandria, VA. I had absolutely no idea that they have so many locations across the nation! And such an abundance at that in FL. I had a beyond pleasant experience with the staff at this store. The gentleman (didn't catch his name unfortunately) that was working was so helpful and very knowledgeable. I wish I lived down here just because the customer service he provided was out of this world. And of course, the spice and tea selection was abundant and wonderful as always.

This is an incredible store with a wonderful staff, who are all so warm and inviting. One of them spent like 15 minutes with me giving me many many samples to try, all of which were amazing. Another one gave me a free refill on my lavender lemonade.

Everything seems to be high-quality. One example that stands out is the black truffle sea salt. There are clearly real tiny pieces of truffle in there. It's the same thing with all their other products.

The only thing is that they have so many products that it can be overwhelming, but I recommend sticking it out and exploring a bit - you might find something you really like!

Loved every minute in your store. Bought a ton of spices and a tea. Got great suggestions from a staff member who let us sniff a whole bunch of new spices. Certainly going to do wonders for our imagination in the kitchen. Have already reorganized the new spices in our spice drawer at home. Thanks for everything - we will definitely be returning on our next trip to Winter Park.

Sometimes I wish I'd never discovered this place...but I'm so glad I did. My boyfriend used to love loose leaf tea, so as a gift, I decided that I'd set him up with a good selection. I got the steeping mug and I think the special was buy 4 bags of tea get one free, so I got a variety. I wound up getting the hazelnut cookie black tea and WHAT IN EARTH?! The BEST tea I've ever had.. ever. Then, I discovered the butterscotch sugar, so now I make ultra strong hazelnut cookie tea with butterscotch sugar and in winter, it is my go to evening drink. It just feels like you're drinking love. Very expensive love. Now, his 4 teas are STILL in the cupboard, but I blow through the hazelnut cookie tea like it's my last day on earth. It is the best way to enjoy an evening. My huge mug, the 2 dogs and a soft blanket...sipping on love. Very...very expensive love....

Lovely little shop! So many options and the customer service was amazing. Went shopping for a Christmas present and the employee who helped me was so kind and very helpful

I have just started to steep tea as I was gifted a kettle and was advised it would help with my health. I had no clue what I was looking for when I first went and one of the employees was very helpful to advise me and answer my newbie questions.
I finally finished my 1st two bags and went back in for a new mixture. When i walked in I was surprised that the employee remembered me from at least a month ago and was helpful again. The teas also have been really great. It has become part of my routine now to drink a glass. The Superberry was my favorite but just by a slight. Very glad this business is just down the road!!
