The Ancient Olive Gourmet of Winter Park

What a magical place! They have such a massive variety of high quality oils and such that it's mind boggling!
Do you want an oil that packs a powerful flavor punch? One with exponential healing properties? Something in between? They have them all. And you can taste them!!!
I wish I could afford to take home half the store. It's well worth the visit!

So unique and lots of different kind of oils and vinegars - even more! Would recommend taking a stop by to see the vast amount of flavors they offer, it’s crazy how many there are! They also offer free samples of most, so come check it out!

Like being transported to an old-timey distillery with a new-flavor feel. The balsamic vinegars and flavor infused oils are delicious and you can sample before you buy, which I love. Staff is knowledgeable, very nice, and helpful.

The store has a wonderful selection of quality olive oils and balsamics! You can try everything which makes decisions easier and there are small bottles available so you can try a few. Tasting the olive oil makes it clear that it is true quality olive oil you can't get at the grocery store and the balsamics are good on SO much. Steven was so friendly and a great help while shopping!!

What a unique store. It had a nice court yard, but also had every type of of olive oil and balsamic that you could think of. It also allows you the opportunity to sample them too.

Walking along the road in Winter Park I noticed a beautiful little alley.

Winter Park is a beautiful area of Florida. This was my first time visiting the area. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. Then I see the sign which pointed me down this little alley way with a beautiful bubbling fountain in the center. Curious I went down the alley to find a quaint beautiful store full of edible curiosities.

The store is full of fragrances that delights one senses. They have amazing tasting vinegars, oils, jams, sauces and other items. It is definitely a place you would want to seek out.

The store is very clean and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. You can sample just about everything.

We had to go back to the Ancient Olive since we became enamored with the Balsamic's on our last visit. We love the flavored Balsamic Vinegars and we only use it and olive oil on our salads. Our favorites are the Tangerine, Blueberry, Raspberry and Black Cherry. We don't have a location near us so we bought enough to last us until we come back down to Florida. They have many other things available in the store. I especially like the pure honey. Also many accessories as well.

Tracy and Lisa are the most knowledgeable, passionate people I've met at a place that primarily sells Olive Oil. They know qualities, histories, and flavor profile combinations! Almost anything in the store can be tried so the buyer always knows what they are buying! I brought home goods to my parents and now they're huge fans. Will come again!

They have a nice selection of quality olive oils. The flavored oils are really good. My favorites are the tuscan herb and the cayenne. You can also try their samples. The place is kinda hidden in the downtown area.

First time in! The selection of oils and vinegars are absolutely one of a kind. So unique! My neighbors are regulars here and had us over for a salad and dinner prepared with different vinegar dressings and pasta with oil from the Ancient Olive! I was hooked! I found four great choices for my Dad and a cook book for Father's Day, he is an incredible Cook! My favorites about this shop are the colorful ambiance, the tucked away location off Park Ave and the free samples! If you read all of this, I hope your convinced this place is very special and make the trip for yourself!

This is my happy place! I go there whenever l want culinary inspiration and food adventure. You can sample a plethora of yummy oils and vinegars. One of my newest favorites is the roasted onion oil. And the pesto oil is amazing.!! Make sure you try the Sunshine Citrus Specialty vinegar. YUMMY! But what makes shopping here a greater joy is Steven, and he adds to the experience. And he's so nice. He's very knowledgeable about the products, and he's fun to talk to. I'll keep coming back.

Balsamic fan for life!!! This charming lil shop downtown that I found while on vacation in Florida did not disappoint. I wished I would have given myself more time to look and taste test as everything was amazing. A choice for every palate. I purchased a variety 6 pack that I could get on the plane with. I'm thrilled to know that this company will ship to you and will be sure to be placing many orders to come. One of my favorite highlights of my recent trip. Friendly and helpful staff.

Love this little hidden gem in Winter Park! I like to walk through what seems to be an antique path to end at this gem! I have gotten olives and stopped by before, but this time I went in with a mini group to sample some of their goods and I was mind blown! They have so many different flavors of balsamic and olive oil that it is crazy how well some do mix!

We tasted olives, a cracker with manchego cheese with fig jam drizzled with blood orange olive oil and to top it off, we had vanilla ice cream drizzled with blackberry ginger balsamic and blood orange olive oil! Who would've known that it would taste divine? I was mind blown!

Our host was Joel and he was super nice, inviting, attentive, friendly, resourceful and always open to give advice or answer any questions.

We sampled the winter park balsamic and strawberry basil combination and both were very good and the combinations were an awesome explosion of flavors into my foodie mouth :)

If you are in Winter Park, it is a must to stop by and see and taste any of the wonderful flavors of olive oil and/or balsamic. You never know what you may fall in love with ;)

Best Olive oils and Vinegars. Staff is super helpful with recipe ideas. Blood Orange OO and Sunshine Vinegar are amazing together. Also there are local treats like hot sauces. Yummy!

One of my must do stops whenever I’m up at Park Avenue in Winter Park. I love that I can sample all of their vinegars and oils, and they’re all so good! Joel puts together gift baskets for my closings and I love his arrangements. Plus I earn points toward free bottles of balsamics! If you haven’t already been in this store, please check them out.

Very cute shop with a variety of olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and pasta sauces. They will let you sample most items. Great service, can’t wait to try my products!

I placed an order for several gift sets. There was an issue with my package getting lost in the mail so, after I sent an inquiry to the store, someone personally delivered my order to my house to make sure I received it in time for my event. I rarely see such exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this store for quality products!

Amazing selection of truly stellar quality olive oils and vinegars. We have gone there for years and have never been disappointed with the quality of their products. The difference between even top-tier supermarket oils and these selections are night and day. Service is great and they have a loyalty points program, plus a military discount. Highly recommended.
