Eatin' Fresh

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Clearwater with a friend. Got a Cuban sandwich and a shrimp basket both were absolutely amazing. Made fresh by the owner who also makes the sauces, food was delicious and the service was as good as it gets. Five stars all the way!

Great, off-the-beaten-path, local spot. Truly a gem. Rick is super friendly and the food is fresh and tasty. Swai fish tacos were yummy with the cilantro lime dressing. The cuban was also tasty. Take home a bottle of Rick's homemade sauces as well...you won't be disappointed.

Just had an amazing meal at Rick Daddy’s Eating Fresh. We sat on the outdoor deck out of the wind and in the sun. My granddaughter pronounced her meal the best tacos she’s had all week - and we’ve had a lot of fish tacos this vacation. I had the gumbo, and give it a A+ - everyone in our party said their food was great. If you were a fan of the former Lighthouse Donuts, don’t despair. You’re sure to fall in love all over again with the new cafe at the same location, only now you can enjoy great seafood instead.

I've passed by this place dozens of times and decided to try it out. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere with easy going music. I dive in to the traditional Cuban with a side of Rick's Hoppin' hot gumbo. Fantastic meal and took time to chat with Rick about the business. He is a down to earth guy and makes you feel welcome in his shop. Overall a great first time experience and will definitely return.

Terrific freshly made grub! We had Cubans and they were light and crispy and HUGE. Hand-cut crinkle fries were tasty and the beans with brisket in them were awesome. Will definitely come again.

I love this place! They are fast and the food is amazing. Everything is so fresh and they provide delivery options. You will not be disappointed!

The best fish tacos I have ever had anywhere. Rick takes time to put together delicious recipes, his sauces are unique and tasty- excellent food prepared when you order. Skip the tourist hype and enjoy the best!

This place is just a tiny little hole in the wall joint with just one table, but it doesn't matter because it's fantastic! I've had the fish tacos several times and it is consistently fresh and tasty. Don't miss out on the soup either. While there's only one offering a day the owner makes it in small batches and he always runs out. Simply said it's been wonderful each time I've had it. Homemade should be so good. As I mentioned earlier this place is tiny. No wait staff, no cooks. Just one guy, the owner, and he takes pride in his meals and cares about his customers. Don't expect your plate to be delivered as quick as McDonald's. This stuff is fresh and takes a little time to prepare. In the meantime drink one of his craft beers on hand. A little pricy...yes. Delishous... absolutely.

Rick is extremely friendly and serves some great food. The shop is small, but has a ton of character and I enjoyed the seating arrangement around the center island. The food was fresh and had great flavor. Eatin' Fresh will definitely be one of our regular stops. Also try the hot sauces, they are very good!

Stopped by after reading great reviews and WASNT disappointed! We got a Cuban sandwich and fish tacos, both were incredible. This spot was our last stop on our trip to Clearwater and really made the trip! Not to mention the owner went above and beyond to serve us with the absolute best customer service. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this spot!

If you’re looking for a place where the locals go, be sure to check RickDaddy’s out! The smoked fish spread is the best we’ve had in the area - and we’ve tried it in every restaurant we were in. Rick is friendly and entertaining. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town!

Staff was great. Cuban sandwich was good. Fish is super fresh, like off the boat. Prices are good. Beer selection is solid. Not much more you can ask for.

LOVE this place! Brisket and ribs are awesome… Love the gumbo. Atmosphere is great… Feels like I went over to a buddies house for some great barbecue.

Stopped in on my way back from the beach with family, the cashier (who I assume is the owner) was also the chef and was quick as he could be with getting delicious food to the table and moving plenty of customers that flooded in 5 minutes after us. I’m not a Clearwater local but if I was this would be a staple restaurant in my book.

I'm sorry I didn't know about this place sooner. The grouper po-boy was fresh and tasty. And the spiced up ketchup and BBQ sauces were so good, I bought a bottle of the BBQ sauce to take home. Give it a try.

Had the Shark fish spread, fish tacos, and numerous Cubans. This man can cook! Well worth the trip from anywhere in Pinellas! Always awesome!

Great spot for fresh food and a fun environment. The owner is very engaging and truly cares about the quality of the food. I got the cuban and a cup of gumbo. It was delicious!

Delicious Cuban sandwiches and fabulous fish spread. Forgot to take photos of the food. Next time I will try their bbq! I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Best Cuban sandwiches in the whole county! I am very picky about Cubans, if I don't like it I won't eat it. These are amazing.
