Gyro City Grill - Hiram

We had takeout and really enjoyed our food! The owner was really funny and made us laugh and we waited about 20 minutes for the food to come out. We got the traditional gyro and the gyro platter (which is really just two gyros). The gyros were excellent! Tender and flavorful meat, crunchy veggies and soft pita. Perfect! We also had tasty dolmades as an appetizer.

The absolute magic is done when you get the cheesecake baklava. I was going to faint, it was so good! I never had a dessert that combines the best of both worlds. I'll definitely be back to dine in as the atmosphere seemed relaxing.

Every time we have eaten here, the food has been delicious. It's hot when it gets to the table and you can tell it's made fresh just by the little touches in each dish. The owner always makes sure to come around and check with everyone and make sure their meal was good/ask if we need anything. It's such a nice, calm atmosphere. I can't say enough good things!

The food was fantastic! They are under new management. Food was sooo much better then last time we came. Highly recommend the chicken lemon soup! Gyros was spot on! Dee dee was our waitress she was super sweet and friendly. She went above and beyond. We will definitely be back and soon!

My wife and I recently tried Gyro City Grill restaurant and were delighted with our choices. I opted for the traditional gyro, and my wife went for the authentic Greek salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, showcasing the true flavors of Greek cuisine.

We ordered our meals to go, and we were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and generous portion sizes. The gyro was packed with savory meat and flavorful toppings, while the Greek salad was a refreshing mix of crisp vegetables and authentic Greek dressing.

Well worth the price. I highly recommend Gyro City Grill. Looks to be under new ownership with a new menu and cook. All of these things show. This is hands down my new top restaurant between Villa Rica/Dallas/Hiram. The food was absolutely fantastic. Calamari was cooked perfectly. The gyro had a ton of flavor. All of the sides were fantastic.

I have been a long time fan of Gyro City Grill mostly due to the fact that they are serious about serving the freshest, tastiest ingredients in their dishes.

There aren't many Greek restaurants in the area, so it's an absolute treat to find one that is laser focused on a delivering a superior menu, exceptional service and very fair prices.

If you're looking to eat healthier, cleaner, but won't compromise on taste and quality - give this restaurant a try. Pro Tip: Try their traditional Gyro. You will think you've died and gone to heaven.☺ 👼

So...our first time there was last night. The food was awesome, but what made the night extra special was that the proprietor came out and talked with us. He's an older gent who wanted to make sure the experience was a good as it could be. We talked some and we really enjoyed his company. Nice fellow. I got the traditional gyro's which were as good as any I've had anywhere. Really delicious. We both got the lemon soup and I really liked it while my wife thought it was maybe a bit TOO "lemony" as she put it. I like bold flavors so it suited me perfectly. I hear that this place is under new management. I didn't know anything about the old management, but the man we talked to was Ashok and he was a warm, friendly sort who checked on us frequently. Case in point - I don't think anyone who likes Greek food will be disappointed here. He's got the two basic things down: Great food and great service.

The customer service was great, but the wait time was a little long,>10 mins, but it was worth the wait. The Gyro had a lot of meat, it was tasty and fresh, the price seemed a lot, but you get A LOT of food, which includes a fries and a salad.

Hands down the best service in Hiram! The staff is so friendly and attentive, and treat you like a member of the family! We love sitting on the outdoor patio (as a bonus it is dog friendly!) enjoying a beer and delicious Greek food. We have been there a half dozen times by now and enjoy our experience every time. Two thumbs up!

This restaurant is amazing and very authentic. The lemon chicken soup was wonderful and tasty. They brought out an appetizer of chickpeas, beets and pasta salad. I do not eat beets but the pasta salad and chickpeas were delicious. My gyro was huge and I ended up taking half of it home because I couldn’t eat it all but it was very good. My husband got a burger and he said it was really good too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

When I say the atmosphere in this place is top tier, I truly mean it! I initially came here to do a Uber order and when I left I told my wife how we need to return just based on the yummy smells coming from the customers food, however upon returning we for sure came back for the food and the customer service. Phenomenal! Beat Gyros in town coupled with the sweetest and most southern hospitality customer service ever. I plan on returning to sit and eat since I had to get take out this time. Keep it up guys, you all are amazing! I also need to add that the restrooms are SPOTLESS and smell so good, which is a huge plus for me!

Went there for the first time tonight. The menu has great options . We decided on the calamari , the spinach in phyllo dough , the lemon green soup and a Greek salad . The food was fresh and very tasty. The owner was very kind and big hearted and the waitress we had was very knowledgeable of the menu, very friendly and attentive to the customers . It was the date night my wife and I needed . Great food with great folks. We will be back soon.

Me and my friend were deciding where to eat.. whether at the Asian place next door or here. We didn’t really know what to choose. So we see a very friendly lady at the window only with her smile convince us to eat there. Once we walked in we felt like home and felt a very warm welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly, patient and very kind person! There was a man who I think is the owner. He was so polite and kind! I can’t explain how amazing everything was !!! The food here was AMAZING! The desserts OMG especially the baklava cheesecake! We don’t regret coming here. We loved everything and we are sure coming back !

I came here when it first opened, under the last owner, and now under the new owner. Hands down 100% improvement! I'm very happy with the quantity but more so with the quality of the food. Everything I had was absolutely delicious! I had the souvlaki, lamb and shrimp, lemon potatoes, rice, pita and also had some hummus. My husband has a gyro and our kids had pizza, gyro platter, fries and falafels. Everything was great! I asked the owner to please add baba ghanoush to the menu and he said it will be added. We'll be back for sure! 🤗

My husband and I came in tonight for the first time and we were completely blown away. We were the only customers in the store and an older gentleman, who I believe is the owner/manager, came and chatted with us and was so nice and welcoming. DeeDee at the register was great too! We just finished eating and everything was delicious! We got a traditional gyro, falafel gyro, the hummus appetizer, and extra puts bread and we have 0 complaints!

Update - New owners, fresh interior update, huge service improvement and definitely an improvement in the food quality.
The tzatziki is made the right way! Authentic, with Greek yogurt as the base and not sour cream, much to my delight, I noticed it immediately. The tomatoes and lettuce on my gyro were diced fresh, not the bagged pre-diced tomato other places use. The freshness of the ingredients was delicious and made for a great experience. Super crispy fries and a nice spinach artichoke dip.
Cleaned up menu selection, with authentic Greek favorites. We'll definitely be back.

Had great service and an amazing meal. I'm a big fan of Greek food and this is so good. You have to try the flaming cheese. The desert topped it all off. The cake is amazing.

I loved the food at Gyro City Grill! I ordered the Spanakopita meal, fries, and a kid's pita pizza. I enjoyed the dishes that I purchased. The Spanakopita was flaky on the outside and the spinach was done just right. The food lasted me for two meals. I tried the pizza. It was tasty and the perfect size for a child. The staff was very friendly! I would order from this place again.

Gyro City is a delightful opportunity to have unique cuisine in Paulding County with even more delightful service. We were cheerfully greeted by DeeDee who promptly seated us and offered to help with any questions. The menu was inviting with several tempting options and clear explanations to help in choosing. The prices are fair, every restaurant is a calculated investment these days, and the portions were generous.
Ashook, the owner, was the icing on the cake (which they have literally in huge pieces on display)! He took great care in serving us our delicious gyros and friendly conversation. He exchanged kind words and made us feel like his #1 customers.
Gyro City is not the most fancy option in town, but I guarantee you won't be disappointed in the kindness and top notch customer service you experience there!
Give it a try. I recommend the traditional gyro and a conversation with Ashook!

I'd give 10 stars if i could the food was amaz8ng and the service was even better than the food. Best service I've had in years. The food did not reflect previous reviews at all. Took amazing care of my chaotic kids too😅.
