VIP Mexican American Cuisine IRB

We enjoyed listening to live music even while we were inside finishing up our dinner. The service is friendly and fast here. The jalapeno cilantro margarita is very good and has a little bite to it. We both ordered the ground beef chimichanga but unfortunately both agreed it wasn't very flavorful. Also I was little disappointed that chips and salsa aren't provided on the house like all other Mexican restaurants do. Maybe next time we need to try something different. We definitely loved going on the patio and watching the band play. What a great way to end the evening.

Really good tacos and margaritas. I had the street tacos and my friend had the crunchy beef tacos. I had mahi mahi, I would have preferred them to be blackened. Our waiter said they had seasoning on them but it wasn't blackened seasoning. The freshness of the grilled made up for it. Delicious margaritas and super fast service. This place gets busy so you may have to wait.

Kayla made a good strawberry margarita and Courtney kept checking on us to make sure we were good. It took about 45 mins to get our order but it was worth it . Great nachos , tacos and drinks

Tried this spot out for an early dinner. We didn’t order a ton, but what we ordered hit the spot. We ordered the mini three amigos, Mexican rolls, and seared tuna taco. Delicious food and a really fun atmosphere. Glad we made a stop here.

I want to start with the service. I wish I could remember our waiters name, but he was fast and attentive, couldn’t ask for better service. We even had another young later come to check on us right after he took our order.

Drinks and food are priced well, especially for how delicious they both were. Their take on the tamales as photographed were great!
Would recommend this place to others, and would come back again for a nice, lowkey Americanized Mexican dinner!

Stopped in to try out the "New" VIP in IRB (have been going to the VIP in TI for yeeears), and we were absolutely thrilled that it was virtually the same !! The Wet Burrito was wonderful, and the Nachos were fabulous !! We will definitely be back !!

We went for a birthday party, normally we go to VIP on treasure island. We went here due to location. The food was awesome and the inside was decorated nicely. Unfortunately our service was severely lacking. The waitress clearly didn't want us sat with her and by the end of the meal she was just rushing us out without asking for dessert orders. We had to tell her to order them. She forgot our apps all together so that came with our food which was frustrating. She forgot our drinks multiple times. Other then service, everything was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious!!!

This is one of my favorite places to come eat. The atmosphere is always so welcoming. The staff is always friendly. My favorite waitress is Brittany . She always gives me the best service. She’s so attentive and just has such a great positive energy, which makes the experience so much better. I love to bring my family here when they come from out of town it never disappoints.

We got a to-go order for a family of four. We did split the gringo chicken tenders between the kids - they were good, not a lot of flair; but what do you expect when you order gringo food from a Mexican restaurant. Anyway, the important food: we ordered the Wet Burrito and the Nachos. AMAZING! Full of flavor! Affordable and great! Plus we unexpectedly got a bowl of pico, guacamole, and cheese dip at no extra charge. Where we're from those always seem to be up charges so we were additionally pleasantly surprised!

Enjoyed a quick bite at the bar with a great lunch special recommended by a very friendly and informative bartender. Chicken taquitos definitely hit the spot! We will definitely be back to try more menu items in the near future.

We had a friend suggest we go there so we did he also went there with us. One thing I liked was the fact that they had Cigar City Jai Alai beer on draft. Do get me wrong, it's not that I can't stand the usual Mexican beers it's that I prefer some other beers more. We had the salsa and chips to start off with. The flavor was very good. My had Pork Caritas Taco's she loved them. Our friend had Mahi Mahi Taco's. He had been there before, so he was happy. I had one of their Pork Belly Taco's which was very tasty. I also ordered the Pork Caritas Wet Burrito with a piece of Street Corn. Oh my, they were both delicious. Needless to say, we will be going there again, you can bet on it. Our server was a young man named Owen he took very good care of us. The only thing that went wrong was when we got there and asked to be seated, they said it would be 5 minutes it ended up being more like 15-20 minutes. Overall, it was very enjoyable.

Ky is the MAN!!!
Ky was our waiter and I could not decide what I wanted to eat so I asked him what his go-to food was. Without hesitation he said the cheesesteak burrito was his go to

Go here, ask for Ky the waiter, order a house Margarita on the rocks and enjoy a nice meal. Tell them that Mike sent cha!!!

We couldn't have been more impressed. The food, the service and atmosphere was so relaxing and perfect. I loved the loaded nachos and the Cajun fish taco. The Cadillac Margarita is my favorite. Definitely give this place a try. You will love it too

Love this Mexican Restaurant! My husband and I had another amazing experience once again at VIP! Our waitress Courtney was amazing and so attentive. She is a very pleasant and hard working young woman very professional and so does an amazing job. Also the staff was great. They all were kind and friendly like always! Courtney never skipped a beat even when it became very busy she gave equal attention to all her tables. Thank you VIP for the amazing food and staff!

We’ve been coming here for years, and we sat outside on Saturday night and everything was absolutely perfect! Shannon was an excellent server, recommended drinks, specials, and appetizers. Steak burrito grande was 10/10, I usually don’t switch up my order but she was rather convincing and now I’m hooked. Can’t stop coming back!

Went there today for lunch. I had the tuna taco, it was ok. Probably wouldn't order again. My husband had the ground beef and carnitas tacos. The ground beef was very good! Salsa is nice and chunky. Drinks were good. We will be back and try other things.

What a great find at Indian Rocks Beach, FL! Likely the best mexican restaurant we've been to. Food was great, atmospher perfect, and the service outstanding. Big shout out to Mark, with "K" 😄 and Alison at the patio bar. We enjoyed it so much we were back every n8ght and brought our friends who we were vacationing with.
