Family style dining at its best!!! I never leave hungry. Great southern favorites. I visit twice a year and have never been disappointed. Great food for them money too! If in North GA I highly recommend giving Dillard House a try.

Opting for the $20 per person All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) breakfast, my dining experience exceeded all expectations. Despite our late arrival, the servers seamlessly brought out a tray of hot, fresh delights, and the family-style servings ensured that no one left the table hungry. The option for seconds and the provision of to-go boxes showcased the establishment's commitment to guest satisfaction.

The breakfast spread was a revelation—fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and the standout corn grits, perfectly seasoned to perfection, exemplified the kitchen's dedication to quality. Even at the end of the breakfast hour, the attention to freshness and flavor was unmistakable.

Service at The Dillard House was impeccable, with the staff managing the transition to the lunch menu without making us feel rushed or uncomfortable. The overall atmosphere allowed us to savor each moment, making the dining experience truly memorable.

I came here as a young teenager and 35 years later I'm proud to say that it hasn't changed. It is still every bit as amazing as it was all those years ago. Do yourself a favor and try it out. Do your children a favor and make this memory for them.

Wonderful place for a home cooked southern style meal with lots of options and it is all you can eat. You will be seated and then about 15 minutes after being seated they bring out a table of food. The staff was very friendly and helpful place for a family outing, especially in the fall, beautiful surroundings and lots of places outside for photos. I personally didn’t eat the food (due to food allergies but I was still happy to come along with my family) but I figured I would be charged for my plate and was expecting to be charged but the waitress noticed I didn’t eat and did not charge me for myself. Great place and will be bringing back my family since they enjoyed it so much. It was 69.00 for 2 buffets and 3 drinks.

This is a great “family style” restaurant which means you only order your beverage and then the meal of the day is brought out in bowls and on plates. Today’s menu was fried chicken, fried catfish, Mac n cheese, corn on the cob, Lima beans, hush puppies, broccoli, coleslaw, country rolls, cornbread, and apple Betty for dessert. It’s a lot of food and you may need some to-go boxes. The Dillard House has over 100 years of interesting history on the walls, and that’s neat to read about.

Came to dinner here while on vacation. Excellent dinner we had. Amazing homemade southern cooking. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff. Plenty of food, if I’d of known you got some much I’d of saved my appetite for the whole day. Will be trying out for breakfast tomorrow morning.

My lunch was excellent farm to table fresh meals!
The view is amazing located in the mountains with views of the crops, and the pastures as far as the eye can see! The trees and the White Hydrangea flowers are stunning! Love that they also have a petting zoo, horseback riding, and a wonderful location to stay !

Me and my family came here in a Friday around 5pm. They sat us down quickly and took our order.
They’re menu was fairly good and they’re prices are reasonable. We loved our dinner and our server did great as well. We will be back!

Thanksgiving dinner was delicious. All the tradition sides were served beside turkey, ham & pork. Plenty of food served family style.

Love coming here. The food is to me what I call true home style country cooking. I love the atmosphere, the service has always been great and I love the scenery. There also rooms you can spend the night in and horse tours amongst other things. I haven't spent the night here yet but it's definitely on my list!

Me and my family look forward to eating here every time we come through. Our waiter was Mr Casper. He did an excellent job, and the food tasted great. Try their apple butter with biscuits.

My first time coming to this establishment on July 4th , 2023. The live music from
Hunter Grayson was spot on ! We paid for the BBQ Picnic . The setup outside was really nice . The weather was beautiful until the wind picked up and it started to rain . They have a firework show starting at dusk . I’m sure that would’ve been nice but once the rain hit we left . It’s roughly about 2 hours outside of Atlanta , GA. It’s a small town so they do have many amenities while waiting on dinner to start . However being that it was a holiday , a lot of the shops were closed . They do have horse back riding lessons and a small farm zoo. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the buffet went on from 5:30 to 8:00 was the last call. And the dessert table was full and had multiple options . This is also separate from the main restaurant . The main restaurant had a different menu and separate price . It was an experience .. and I recommend to all .

Had a great experience for our first time here. We have been wanting to try it for years but never got a chance til today. Though it wasn't my favorite ( I'm a picky eater ) it was still a nice time and worth returning

I had to go to Franklin NC on Monday and drove past the Dillard House. It’s been a while since I had been there (pre-Google era). After working through normal lunchtime, my coworker and I headed straight to the Dillard House for a late lunch. We were not disappointed. Plenty of food, view from there is awesome as well.

Definitely was an experience! The views are gorgeous, the horses are beautiful, and feeding the longhorn was definitely wild! I would come back. We stayed in the king suite with an fireplace which was breathtaking. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub!

The food was good, our fried chicken was underdone, but the sides were good.

We ate here for dinner then turned around next day and ate breakfast 😋 both experiences were wonderful. The dinner was my favorite, we came on a Saturday night no wait. Fried chicken, mash potatoes, black eye peas,collards..on and on..all so yummy. Staff is very attentive to your table and sees when u need a refill on food.

Breakfast was also yummy..bacon,eggs,biscuts and gravy,pancakes, sausage and muffins and cinnamon rolls..all was good. We will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Family style food which I love and my kids love it also. They also have a petting zoo with all kinds of farm animals. I love the GOATS. The views are absolutely stunning. The food taste just like grandma made it. And if you run out they just keep bringing you more!

Very nice buffet which they bring to your table, from two cold sides of excellent cole slaw and tomato/cucumber vinaigrette, great southern fried chicken and pork tenderloin with a cherry sauce, and string beans, glazed carrots, and more. All very good. Very yummy. Corn bread and rolls.

Desert was vanilla ice cream over warm strawberries over a shortbread cookie on the bottom. Delicious.

Stuffed. Satisfied. And happy.

This is the second time here. Great view. Nice change of pace and time out. Service was attentive though not overly friendly. Food was served quickly and was hot.

The Dillard House is a unique place to eat. I have been there five times over a period of years after a family friend introduced me to this place. I love the scenery. The food is delicious and well worth the $33 and some change per person that was charged this visit. The waiters and waitresses go above and beyond for you. The drinks are continuously filled, and the food is free flowing. (Some food you may have to request depending on the menu). I was able to see the menu on their website. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I have brought multiple people here for the first time. This alone should say how great this restaurant is.
