Anchor Bar & Grill

We are spending Christmas with family so is there any better excuse to get out of the house than a meat raffle? We have visited this pacifc establishment before to eat so we already knew that the cheese curds are the best around. The burgers were good too. During the meat raffle I won some steaks and a birdhouse. My son in law won ribs and crab legs. Oh yeah, my other two brothers in law didn't win anything. They did walk away with an nice buzz though. So get yourself to the Anchor and enjoy some good food and if you can catch a meat raffle that's a bonus.

Great place to stop and grab a bite. Excellent waterfront area with lots of live music during warmer months. The wings and bloodies were really good!

Bleu cheese and bacon burger. The burger was good, but the fries were cold. It's located on the Rock River which was very nice.

Great place with indoor, patio and riverside seating. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were excellent. Had a Cuban sandwich that was really good.fresh made potato salad was also good. Prices were very reasonable. Found out they have live music on weekends. The whole riverside setting and scenery was nice.

Finally was able to eat inside. It was nice. The Cubano sandwich was still excellent. The fries were very good. I had to explain what a rum punch was, but the bartender made a very good one.

Returned, unfortunately the Cubano was gone. So I had the prime rib sandwich which was good. They also now have a good rum punch! We sat at a riverside table. It was so nice watching the pontoon boats cruising by.

We returned to find out they have really nice space heaters on the outside deck. It was a little cool outside, but the heaters worked really well. Because of them we enjoyed eating on the deck.

They recently completed some fairly major renovations inside including moving the music stage to an upper level balcony and transforming the back room into a video arcade game room. They also expanded the outdoors children's playground. Nice additions! The food and drinks, as always, were very good.

Just went back for a summer break. They have built a new children's playground that is really nice. We watched as several children played on it and really seemed to enjoy it. They had a sand box base for it that made it a giant sandbox. The kids seemed to really enjoy that part.
I had the Cubano sandwich. In the past it was a good sandwich. But they redid it now using a pressed bread that made it more authentic as a Cuban sandwich. It was really good.

Great food, awesome music, 10 of us for my Birthday. Service was wonderful. Truly nothing but a wonderful time with my family. Try it when you're in the area.🥰🍰🍺🥃

Everything you need for a weekend of fun is here. Located on Rock River between Rockford and Madison. Good food and drink. Lawn games and a variety of rentals nearby. Great venue for music.

Went in for dinner. They were playing bingo. Kinda loud. Arcade live music Green Bay bar. Good food. Drinks. Kid friendly

We came here from out of town to get some bloody Marys ended up staying for hours, there were doing raffles through out the day and night and had a blast. If I am in the area I will be stopping by again, I recommend you do the same.

Good food, excellent prices, nice location on the river, gonna guess that this place can attract a lot of boaters and bikers? We ate outside, it was perfect. The inside looked very cool as well. Would recommend.

Had a blast. I really want to go back when the have a live band. Service was excellent even though they where shorts staffed. Nachos are a must try!!!

Very nice restaurant with life music (Sundays) 3 🌟 for service bcz I was waiting in my table for service for more than 15 minutes

Food was good and liked outdoor seating. Waitress kind of forgot about us for 25 minutes to order another drink.. Too busy talking to other wait staff and setting up tables on ground level. She was nice though.

We hosted our 30th Anniversary at Anchor. We rented the upper loft & had about 35 people. Working with Julie was easy & we were able to pretty much order anything from the menu for our event! We opted for the taco/nacho bar and the food was delicious, hot & presented nicely buffet style. Our designated waiter, Andrew kept our guests well hydrated running for drinks or whatever we needed all night! Bonus* there was live music that evening that our guests could enjoy on the patio! We had so much fun & highly recommend Anchor for your special event!

I’m so pleased to be able to leave this review…this place has gone through changes recently in ownership and what a amazing transformation! AWESOME food!!! Great staff that truly did their best to make sure we were taken care of! I am looking forward to supporting this place moving forward!! Well done new ownership!!! It was a little slow but the bartender, Curt I believe, was great and kept things lively. We had nachos and a quesadilla and both were great.

What a neat spot! It was very loud (but it was also the NBA finals and the Bucks won...). Good food. Lively atmosphere. Our server was a little “confused” at times.... but she did fine. I wish we could have gone back for live music on the deck. If we are ever in the area again we will make a point to stop in.

We arrived by boats at 6:30pm. 17 hungry family members. We were accommodated with seating together, the service was great, food was delicious and came quickly, along with live entertainment. We were pleasantly surprised and will be visiting again.

Loved the Friday fish fry. I have been back for the Friday Night Fish several times now and have been pleased with my food each and every time!

I had no idea what to expect, but Anchor was so much more! It's on the riverfront. They have a HUGE bar, tons of outdoor seating, and outdoor concert stage with free concerts, waterworks and pontoon boat rentals, and even a pristine children's playground.
