Found this fish camp on the Internet and invited my son and next oldest brother to check it out. We are not the smartest fishermen, but we were all happy with the catch we made. The cabin was a little small for us, but my son said it grew on him. The cabin was clean and we couldn't ask for a more friendly and accommodating staff. We truly enjoyed our six days.

Great stay. Still has the old fish camp feel. New owners have done a good job of not changing everything. Some things need to left alone. It’s like a step back in time. It’s an escape from everyday life. We love going as a family if we catch fish or not it’s just a great getaway. Cabins could use. Little TLC but still it’s a fish camp not a five star resort. If you want fancy stay at home.

Great owners who stayed a few minutes late so we could get gas in our boat to get home. Great customer service! 🍸

This is a hidden gem. Nothing fancy but clean, affordable, convenient. Everything you need is right there. Bait, gas, ice, ramp, dock , store. The owners and staff are second to none!!

Best fish camp around!!! My uncle has been coming for over forty years and I’ve been lucky enough to come for the past five or so. The current owners are absolutely the best. Captain Hayden is the best and goes above and beyond to make fishing charters a complete joy.

Shell Island Fish Camp provided us with a fishing experience like no other. All services and accommodations with great. Captain Don Harris helped us reach our limit on Red Fish and we caught many trout and sheep head too.

I stayed here one night in the motel and it was perfect for my needs. Quiet, clean, hot shower, and great location. Incredibly nice staff made check in and check out super easy and quick. The sunset was beautiful on the dock and the tarpon hanging around there are massive. I’ll be back to stay longer. Thanks!

Just as we expected. We wanted to get away for a couple days and fish. We know what to expect at a fish camp and this one met the needs. Our guide Steve was wonderful and made sure we had a great time all day fishing and scalloping. He didn't just sit back and tell us what to do, he joined in and had a good time with us. We will definitely be back sooner than later.

Just got back to Alabama today after fishing the last two days. Hayden is a great guide. We caught lots of fish. This is a great fish camp. Very friendly atmosphere and people. Me and my two brothers took our dad to catch fish and that's exactly what we did. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I went here for the first time to bike ride with a group of friends. We instantly fell in love with the fish camp and the friendliest of the people. We stayed in one of the modular units. We only stayed two nights, but with good accommodations, clean bedding and great water pressure in shower with plenty of hot water and great food from surrounding restaurants our stay at the camp was so enjoyable and we're looking forward to many more years of visits. As many reviews have mentioned it's not a 5 star hotel, but in my opinion it's definitely a pleasantly laid back kinda vacation life that surpasses the busy life of the 5 star high rise hotels. Thank you for the memories and God willing we'll see you next year. Cyndi and David

This rustic, family-owned fish camp is run by some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! Be sure to ask about the redfish recipe from the owner, because we cooked our catch the same night and it was some of the best fish I've ever eaten. My family comes here to hire the extremely knowledgeable guides, stay in one of the simple rooms, and enjoy an easy-going fishing vacation. This was our second trip and we've brought back keeper fish every time.

This year we had Capt. Paul for a half-day guide and he was phenomenal. He put us on the fish within five minutes of getting to one of his prime spots. We were catching reds on the port side and seatrout to starboard! It was wild!!! Flounder, seatrout, redfish...he knew where to go! We'll definitely use him again!

At the end of the day, we had two nice sized redfish, and two great seatrout we brought back for dinner. Capt. Paul cleaned and filleted them for us, too! They have plenty of charcoal grills available to use here, so we ran to the local Publix to get the supplies we needed (and the aforementioned recipe items) and we had a feast.

Their new campground is perfect for campers of any size, so we may use that next time with ours. The wifi is strong, the people wonderful, and the fishing top notch! Best of all, it's incredibly priced and super family-friendly!

Can't wait to come back!

We stayed at the campground at Fish Camp the weekend before Idalia hit the area. On the morning we were leaving, my husband noticed that one of the bracket that holds the spring to the frame of the camper had cracked. We went to the office and spoke to one of the guys and they were able to help us by welding the bracket where it had cracked! I am forever grateful for there assistance when they had issues that they needed to deal with for the approaching storm.

We had such a great trip to see my father two Christmases ago there's really no nice hotels up that area or anything there wortj staying at and my father did not have room for us at his house and he had recommended this Marina to stay at as he'd stayed there on a few occasions. I was skeptical at first but when I got there I immediately noticed the place was really really cute. it was set back at the end of a road so it was not busy not a lot of coming and/or going. it was right on the water. it was beautiful. Unfortunately it was very cold that winter but they have heaters in the rooms and lots of blankets. This was a very cute place to stay and we would definitely go back I recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the area it's, like I said, quiet and peaceful and serene.

A Gem of a place in Saint Marks, Florida.. If you are looking for a family owned "Real" Florida fish camp that comes with the extra convenience of not only a ship store with live bait, tackle, and other sundries you might need but also boat storage, rental boats and very knowledgeable guides ( Ask for Hayden ) - The staff were so friendly and welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable and outside amenities were very well maintained. We most definitely will be back again this year to explore this beautiful part Florida that still remains as Florida should be.. If you know , then you know and you will love it here..

We have been coming to the fish camp for years and really love the place. Such a nice relaxing atmosphere. I have stayed in the motel and in the large cabins, both have been clean and neat. It's not a big city hotel, it's a place to stay to fish, ride bikes on nearby bike trails and just chill out.

Loved the peace and quiet. The room was clean & comfortable and the staff was nice. They did charge for our medical alert dog. But we paid it this time even though there shouldn’t be a charge.
