Nah's African Hair Braiding

I walked in on a Thursday afternoon after another braider (booked on Instagram) cancelled at the last minute
for my scheduled appointment. The shop was clean and spacious, the ladies were very helpful and accommodating, and I didn’t wait long, probably about 10 minutes, which was great considering I was a walk in at almost 3pm. I got mid back length, medium knotless boho braids for much less that other ladies were charging in the area and they supplied the hair as well. I would definitely return and recommend to others, their prices are unbeatable!

I received small knotless waist length braids. I love the results, will be back!! The price was unbeatable.

Fast service. Ask for "free". She's very sweet and did a good job on my hair. The knotless mid back length is $180.00. Which is what I got . That's about the standard price for most places but I'll still come here next time. I can't account for anyone else's professionalism or handy work, just "free"s . I have had not so pleasurable experience and work here before by others.

-If you have never gone to an African hair braiding spot then these other reviews would make sense.
This is not a Instagram establishment… if you grew up coming to places such as these. You would understand basic non spoken rules of the braid shop.
1. Always bring cash… always
2. Always come early, it’s simply first come first served because they do not take appts and will not miss out on any money if you “call over the phone” to book.. their is no booking.. you just show up. And if you want it done fast and to be first.. you come EARLY
3. If you are tender headed DO NOT COME.. you cannot be upset because they grip tight. That’s how they do! And that’s how they know how to make it last.
If these are problems of yours then book a expensive braider off of social media, but don’t talk down on the business because you most likely will receive these same basic treatments/ rules at 90% of African braiding shops. It’s not a beauty store with chandeliers. It’s a braid shop.. that’s it. Probably why you get such a good deal as well.

Nah gave me great service. My granddaughters hair was beautifully done. The shop was very clean. It was so professional and the hair is affordable.

Free did my Kinky twist and she did a Great job. She had me in the chair at 9 am and out at 12 very fast friendly and professional.

The lady did my hair style exactly how i wanted it (lemonade braids) .. And I didn't know what color that I wanted but it turned out to be very cute . And also I got micro twist braids before they did that hairstyle , the hair style lasted for about 5 months and I took it out.. I think 4... anyways.. it was just a 100$ for Lemonade Braids and for the micro twist braids it was 130$ so they don't charge bad to me I got what I wanted.

Nice and patience ladies, clean atmosphere I will be returning. I had the micro braid done and it only took them 4.5 hr. Not as full as I would of like but 5 out a 5
