Rabun Animal Hospital

Our "baby" was experiencing pain with an unknown cause. Rabun Animal Hospital was able to squeeze her in within an hour even though she was not a regular patient. (We were visiting the area from Florida.) The vet (Dr. Amanda) was thorough and caring. The staff was welcoming and understanding as well. I HIGHLY recommend Rabun Animal Hospital for any veterinary needs. Thank you!

Wonderful office! My rabbit has been coming here for 2 years and everyone is always so nice and helpful.

He recently had some trouble with a blockage in his stomach, and although Rabun Animal Hospital was unable to resolve his problem, they were very helpful in stabilizing him and directing me to a place that could. Dr. Joanne was so very kind and I could tell she wanted the best outcome for my rabbit.

My dog is not a regular patient of Rabun Animal Hospital, but she had a minor emergency due to a close encounter with an angry groundhog. Her regular vet was closed on Saturday so we went to Rabun Animal Hospital.
Starting at the intake process, to the post visit follow up, the experience was excellent. From Hannah and Amy at the front to vet tech Chloe, and Dr. Parner, all were extremely kind and treated my dog and me as if we were regulars there.
Chloe followed up via a phone call to check on my dog and that was a very nice touch, especially, since my dog is not a regular patient.
Thanks to the whole team for taking great and kind care of my beloved girl dog.

We had an excellent experience at Rabun Animal Hospital! From the time I made an appointment for my dog to the time the VetTech saw him to the time the Vet saw him I was kept informed. They answered all my questions and concerns. We have swapped care to them and scheduled our yearly check-up already! Thank you Rabun Animal Hospital for such great care!!!

Had an urgent situation with my senior Golden Retriever, he acted like he got into something poisonous, was throwing up non-stop, was extremely weak, and wasn't eating or drinking. By the next morning, when he wasn't any better with home treatment, I called at 7:30am and they got us right in. The tech was very thorough, and we were seen by Dr. Betsy. She was wonderful! She took her time examining him, and to assess every possible treatment, gave him fluids and several medications. She was spot on, and within hours he was perking up, his vomiting ceased and he was eating and drinking by that evening. Thank you for the great care you all gave our sweet pup!

I have taken my dog here since her very first vet appointment and I won’t ever go anywhere else. If you are looking for affordable rates and people who truly care about you and your animal this is the place for you. I have seen multiple different vets and each one is amazing and truly wonderful at what they do. Even when I needed emergency care for my puppy day of everything was handled with such grace and compassion from start to finish. Good people, great care. Rabun Animal is truly one of a kind.

I recently moved to Toccoa and needed a Veterinary office that was breeder friendly. They hit it out of the ballpark. It’s hard to find an office as incredible as this one. The veterinarian had an excellent manner with my dog as did the staff. I’d give them a ten star review if I could.

I started taking my senior dog to Rabun Animal Hospital late in his life due to his original Veterinarian retiring. I certainly wished I'd started taking him sooner! The care and love my "Tater" received was wonderful. All the vets and techs there were so patient and kind. They listened to my concerns and diagnosed and medicated him carefully and promptly. When the end of his life came, I couldn't have asked for a more understanding, respectful and compassionate group of people. They are utterly amazing! I'm now taking my 6 month old fur baby "Spud" to them and will continue to do so. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t be happier with this place. They are always warm and welcoming. I’ve had to take my little Yorkie pup, Gracie, here on occasion when visiting my dad. I live in DC and have been made to feel like this is my own personal veterinarian from back home. Thank you for the wonderful service and loving my dog back to health most of all.

The BEST Veterinary clinic around! They’ve come to my rescue several times. The staff is ALL kind and so helpful. My dog likes it too!! I do not live in the area but I bring my dog here anyway.

Rabun Animal Hospital provides excellent care for my dog. I have been using them for about a year now. They are very caring and thorough. Highly recommend Dr. Joanne especially. We had a critical situation with my mom’s dog. Dr. Joanne quickly identified the problem and literally saved the dog’s life.

Rabun Animal Hospital is an excellent place. We took our precious dog to them when he was very ill. Every employee was friendly, helpful and informative. The veterinarian diagnosed him quickly and was very kind and compassionate as she explained his serious condition. We are very satisfied with the care we received and we would highly recommend this facility to pet owners.

Dr. Amanda's care gave me another good year with my dog, Levi. We were always treated like we were the only people/puppy in the place. Today, I had to let my little guy go (he was 15 and in congestive heart failure) and Dr. Amanda and her vet technician made it so comfortable for both Levi and me. He was never frightened, he snuggled me as his dozed off to that special place. Comfort, combined with professionalism--love this place. Thank you to the entire staff at Rabun Animal Hospital.

My little baby Mulligan was not eating or drinking. He had been throwing up bile and had diarrhea. He was terribly ill. I thought he was going to die. Dr. Joanne knew just what to do. Also, she was so compassionate and caring with him and me! Thankfully Mulligan is doing so much better today. I believe she saved my cat’s life! 😅 🐈

I so appreciate how nice the staff is. My little candi fell and was injured. They took her right in and Dr Allison and the staff took care of her like she was their own. I cannot speak highly enough of them. I cannot thank them enough.

This place is amazing. The staff here has always been so kind, compassionate, communicative and helpful with me and my dog. They practice none of the shady up-charging tactics I’ve experienced at other vets and they truly know their stuff. These are good people who love animals and I’m so grateful to have found them.

I've been taking my senior dog to Dr. Betsy for over a year, and we've had a wonderful experience! She's very thorough and caring. She helped us navigate some health issues and even cleaned and extracted some of my dog's teeth. The vet techs have always been very attentive and helpful as well. Highly recommend!

My experience with Rabun Animal Hospital (RAH) has been excellent.

RAH respected my concerns and validated my reasoning when I arrived.

Then, the staff had a great attitude, which helped ease my stress. Everyone there was knowledgeable and genuine.

The Veterinarian called me at least four times to update me and ask for consent if something went wrong. Taking those extra steps to respect the owner's wishes is a massive deal for me.

Complete transparency concerning my costs and, again, the respect towards my budget was terrific.

My girl is still there, but from what I have experienced so far, RAH is the only place I will entrust my pet family to.
