Greg's Restaurant

We just moved to Lafayette and had been really burnt out on fast food and decided to stop here to see what it was about. Turned out to be really good and Sally was so nice and helpful! Definitely going to make this place a regular spot!

Again, going local. I'm honestly not sure how long this place has been around, as I rarely get this far past The Battlefield. But I suspect it's been a minute.
The place screams old fashioned dinner. It's dated. And quite charming.
The staff are lovely and helpful.
Chicken and dressing was on the menu the day I was there. There was cranberry sauce and gravy and a sweet potato casserole to rival my ex-motber-in-law's.
The tea was plentiful and sweet.
I got a look at the breakfast menu and it looked good, too.
This is southern comfort cooking served with a refreshing side of southern charm.

Fried Green Tomatoes can be found here! The staff here gives a very at home friendly feel. Love the vintage feel. Food was great.. Good down home country cook.

Had the absolute best waitress. The burgers are great, loved the fries! Great home cooking, good prices, great lunch spot!

The food had gone downhill for a while but tonight everything was so good. The mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. The pinto beans were seasoned just right. Fried okra wasn't burned or undercooked and the greens were good.

Fabulous food! Best home cooking we have had in a long time! We will be frequenting more often! We had catfish plate(5 star!), chicken dressing special(5 star!). The sweet potato pie was ON POINT! EVERYTHING Is homemade!

While visiting family in Georgia for Christmas, we stopped here for breakfast. Grandkids gave it a five out of five, and I did, too. Food tasted great, and the servers were friendly.

10 out of 10 would recommend. If you are looking for great southern cooking, this is your spot. I had been craving fried green tomatoes, and wow, was that fixed here. If you haven't tried it, you need to right away. Also, amazing staff who were attentive and friendly. Will be back. ❤

If you can catch summer there sit in her section.... Your drink glass is never are empty

The food was homemade, fresh and delicious! It was very busy and a little crowded but the service was still good. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing. A great place for a solo meal or a friendly get-together.

We found this place on our map search and we are glad we did. the best vegetable omelet I ever had. If we lived close it would be a place I would go to often.

I LOVE Greg's Restaurant. Sally was our waitress. Sally is AMAZING! Very personable. She takes great care of us. Greg's has the market cornered on Breakfast Burritos. No one's Breakfast Burritos are better! I've tried a lot of different places. Greg's just hits different.
If you read a bad report on Greg's, it was probably the customer being a problem. Everyone has a off day from time to time, but I've never had bad experience at Greg's!

The staff was so sweet and on the spot! Breakfast and dinner was great!

Wonderful little hole in the wall place with old fashion country cooking. Not bad priced either.

Great spot with a very friendly vibe. The kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes and the adults enjoyed the omelet/french toast.

I had ham and cheese omelette with biscuits and gravy. Delicious. Probably the best gravy for biscuits and gravy around in my opinion.

Good stuff. I live 2 hours away, but if I'm ever in town again I'll go there for a meal.

Amazing small town restaurant good food. Definitely recommend the fried chicken salad, and fried green tomatoes. Definitely worth it if your looking for a small local place to eat at. And if you like catfish on Friday night think they still have all you can eat.

We went to Greg's after Sunday church service. The special that day was chicken and dressing with 3 sides. The food was great and the portions were just right. Brenda was our server and she is a sweetheart! Great food at a great price!
