12 Spies Vineyards

Super cute winery. Did a tasting for $15 and then had a glass outside while I listened to some live music. There was plenty of parking available. It was a perfect stop for a day in the mountains!

We did a day of winery tours and hands down this was by far the best wine. We started with a tasting and ended up getting a glass to sit outside. My only complaint is it would be better to be able to take the tasting to the table so we could relax and enjoy- we felt rushed by doing the tasting inside.

Revisited 12 Spies again last week (September) - still a great place to relax with good wine. If they've got their Truffle Chocolates don't pass them up!

Visited early on a Thursday in April. The "Order Pups" tab had a GREAT visit! Did a wonderful tasting, had a batch of the chocolates, and left with 2 bottles of the wonderful Rose. Facility is beautiful, staff was super friendly, truly a dog friendly place, and the wines are worth the trip! Appreciated the tip on the strawberries too!

Our visit to 12 Spies Vineyard was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of incredible wines, stunning scenery, and exceptional hospitality made for a truly memorable experience. We can't wait to return and continue exploring their delightful selection of wines. If you're a wine lover or simply seeking a peaceful getaway (especially from holiday weekend traffic on highway 23), I highly recommend visiting 12 Spies Vineyard. You won't be disappointed!

We are visiting from Florida as our friend has a home in Franklin. It was the most wonderful afternoon! We started in the tasting room and made our way out to the porch where there was live music. Lauren, the owner’s daughter was absolutely delightful. We spent time talking to her about the winery. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very charismatic. We all did a tasting and then ordered glasses. Every wine we tasted was delicious which is a rarity. On our way out we spoke with the owner who made us feel so welcomed. We spent a few hours there and enjoyed the beautiful wines and every aspect of the winery!

My boyfriend and I went to 12 spies about half an hour before closing and shared a 15 dollar tasting, and we had a wonderful time! Donna was very helpful and lovely to talk to, the wines were great (we ended up bringing home a bottle of the Viognier 2021), and the view was outstanding. I'm so disappointed we came here on one of our last nights of visiting, because I would love to come back once there's live music!

2023 October, we had a great time, great music, made new friends...Oh, the wine was so good.

2022 October, visited and had a wonderful time. Saw the completed back yard patioand is completed from last year....really awesome.

2021 October, The wine is the greateat and they made their 1st pinot this year, so goooood. Prices are good and the owners and staff are so great, totally awesome

Great experience! Thank you for being opened when everything else is closed!! Beautiful place to sip on wine, play corn hole and a very welcoming experience with lauren who knows her stuff! Great open place to bring your dog, tons of seating outside or inside. (Coolest and very clean bathroom too) Happiest of holidays(: Will absolutely recommend to our friends!

Delicious selection of wine

The winery and vineyard were wonderful. Tasted 4 wines and bought one to take back to the Air B&B. It paired well with fresh apple and charcuterie board. When we were there they had a a singer at the outside covered patio. It's a beautiful fun place.

What a pleasant surprise tucked away between Clayton and Dillsboro. Dog friendly for those of y'all who cannot function without your four-legged family members. For the adults in the crowd, there are four signs that say 21 years or older. We're grateful that a kid-less environment around alcohol still exists in a beautiful venue. Don't get us wrong, we love kids but our experiences with parents and young children are not always positive. Knowledgeable staff, not pretentious at all. Scenic views, live music, and coveted seating. Check out the restroom sink for a little chuckle.

12 Spies Vinyards is one of the great treasures in Rabun Gap. They have amazing staff and the owners are very warm and welcoming. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. By yourself or bring a group of friends, you can't go wrong coming here.
My wife loves the mulled wine on a cool afternoon. Anytime we are back in the area we plan to stop by .

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lauren was a delight, and the wine well matched the service. Reds, Whites, Dessert Wines, Seasonal tried them all. Very well done. Will return!

Wonderful place!! And the wine is so good(especially the Cab). Great live music in a beautiful setting. Do yourself a favor and visit!! We will be back.

Great little vineyard inthe mountains . Nice place to enjoy with the family. Big open field for the kids to play around. They have live music and on fridays the make fresh pizza.

Wish there were more than 5 stars available! I have visited 12 Spies several times and keep coming back for more. Saturday was the 1st time I had a chance to engage with owner Mike and his daughter Lauren. Now I understand what it is that makes this such a great destination with great wines! Time to join the wine club!

Perhaps off season but....the changing fall colors were amazing and Donna, our hostess, was wonderful... friendly and knowledgeable. More importantly, the wines were delicious! We tried the Chardonnay which was delightfully crisp...the Pinot Noir, very good, the red blend that was quite tasty and Lynn's favorite, the cabernet sauvignon, Deliciously Smooth. I was curious about the Cabernet Franc which Donna called the 'Gentleman's' wine . Guess that's why I liked it...lol .Smoky and smooth. We'll definitely be returning for more! Thanks, Donna!

This was our final stop for my sister's bachelorette trip. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! The wine was incredible and the owners were so welcoming to our large group. From the live music to the beautiful scenery, we had an amazing time. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful afternoon enjoying the wine and amazing weather. Super friendly service. I cannot wait to visit again.
