Perkins Road Community Park

An awesome place roaming around to pass leisure time. One can also walking or jogging inside the park without any cost leaving their childrens playing at the playground.

Great park with tons of activities and great walking paths. They have everything you need for skating or extreme biking. They also have a rockwall and a stocked fishing pond. Further down they have a great river walk and a nice outdoor work out area.

Great facility all around from the playground, Rock climbing wall, skate park, and Bmx track. clean and friendly environment well kept lit up during evening hours.

This park is for everyone! Skaters, bikers, hikers, photographers, athletes, runners, walkers, rock climbers, picnicers, explorers, moms, dads, children, there's a spot for you here. There are restaurants that you can walk to safely. The park is clean and very family-friendly.

Obsessed with this park. You can hike, walk, run. They have everything. The kids playground is fun for the kiddos. We always have a good time every time we go.

This is a wonderful park for walking. Lots of shaded trails as well as lots of sunshine. Nice benches along the way for a peaceful break. Nice play grounds for children. Give it a try!🌞

The park is very clean and family-orientated. They have a rock wall, a BMX track, a gym with a full basketball court, a track and a play area for the kids and it also has a fishing pond

I love walking in the park. I’m 68 and had a stroke. Walking here has helped me heal and provided a safe haven.

Beautiful walking park. Not that I use them but there are playgrounds, ball fields, a velodrome, skateboarding park and a BMX course. It means this is a well used and maintained park. Lots of sidewalk trails to navigate. And a nice pond in the middle. Great place to walk around and enjoy.

The best park in Baton Rouge! Access to the Greenway, fishing pond, bmx bike trail, skateboard park, velodrome, rock climbing wall, and the list goes on. Fantastic place, extremely well maintained by the staff. Don’t miss it!

Beautiful walking path. Feels private!

This park is a great place to go for a run. There is a paved path that goes all around the park. That will bring you about 1.5 to 2 miles. Additionally, another path that is part paved and part not shoots out west from the south end of the park. You can add in about 1.5 to 2.5 miles here depending on what you want to do with it. The park seems very safe, and there are always smiling people around. It includes a playground and bike track in addition to the indoor area and stadium. This is somewhere that I will continue to come back to get some exercise in, as it is both pretty and useful.

Very nice park for kids and adults alike. There are walking paths, multiple playgrounds, a rock wall, a velodrome, and of course an awesome concrete skate park. There's also indoor facilities for court sports. Definitely could spend a full day here when the weather is nice.
