The motherly ladies working the front desk are friendly and helpful. The King Cakes, devil's food cake, Doberge cake and buttery yellow cake are standouts for me. Conveniently located in the city for cupcakes in a hurry, they have been able to fulfill birthday cake requests on short notice. Update 2024: the team created a fantastic buttercream design for spring based off an inspiration photo. It was perfect!

Customer service was great! The presentation was clean and everything showcased looked fresh! I simply walked in and purchased a cake for my birthday. It was decorated with writing in under 5 minutes. My birthday cake was a hit. It was super moist and decadent! Can’t wait to stop on by here again to get more desserts.

I just placed an order for my father's birthday cake today, I spoke with Destiny. I was met with professionalism,urgency, care and hospitality. Though I could hear the voices of customers and hear phone ringing in the background she made me feel like I was the only customer in the world. If I keep getting met with service like this we will continue to be loyal.

For 3 years now, they have helped us deliver anywhere from 39 to 43 King Cakes and party supplies to our various businesses around the Southeast, Texas and North Dakota. All it takes is me sending them the list of locations, they calculate everything and call me for the credit card. The next thing that happens is they have always been delivered on time and our teams have a blast with the decorations, party supplies and the cakes are always incredible. I needed a birthday cake unexpectedly and I thought about Gambino's and sure enough, I was able to get a beautiful butter vanilla cake already made and waiting for me to take it home. My venue works with Gambino’s to make the wedding cake. So of course we got one from Gambino’s for our wedding and it was so beautiful. Exactly what I wanted. But what was even better was the flavor!!! THE best wedding cake I’ve ever had.

We booked Gambino’s for our wedding cake and it was a wonderful experience! Tammy was so very accommodating and patient with us - even reworking our original cake idea with us to fit our budget and needs. Despite us getting married peak Mardi Gras and Valentines season, they always had us as a priority. During COVID, they even arranged for a at-home cake taste to be sure we had everything we needed. It was THE most delicious cake I’ve ever had, and they worked wonderfully with our other vendors like Ashley Manor! We highly recommend Gambino’s for all your wedding bakery needs! The king cake was so good that I bought a 2nd one a week later. On the 2nd visit, I bought pecan praline cookies, which I never had before, and OMGEEEEE! They were slap yo mama good!! I would go back but I'm not trying to be fat FOREVER! 😁 5 stars TIMES 4.

Gambino’s has always been my “go to” bakery - even when I did not live in Louisiana, I would order Doberge Cakes and King cakes for special occasions. I love the unique, yet traditional flavors- especially the wedding cake King Cake! Delicious!!!!

Omg, when I walked in here, the smell of king cake permeating thru the doors during Mardi Gras season was just heavenly. I was born and raised in baton rouge and when I come home it's king cake, Doberge or both. They have the best Doberge Cake around! Lemon is my favorite! Do yourself a favor and try the doberge, petit fours, and get yourself a king cake if it's in season 🤤🤤🤤
