Residence Inn by Marriott Baton Rouge Siegen Lane

I had one of the greatest experiences at this hotel. This Front Desk Receptionist Ebony went above and beyond to track down my package when it didn't come on time. She even went out of her way to check back in with me the next few days to be sure if I had recieved any packages.

The queen suite was spacious & clean, with no sign of bugs even though the mattress didn't have a protective cover. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was above average for complimentary fare: real eggs, properly-cooked potato/sausage hash (with actual diced vegetables), good coffee with milk & cream, oatmeal, yogurt, Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, and more. We didn't swim but the pool looked clean & inviting. The only downside was that the elevator and an exterior door weren't working, but those things happen occasionally, and I didn't ask how long they'd been out.

The staff are excellent. I was there for 4 months and the staff at the front desk greeted me by name. The rooms are in excellent condition; couches and bed are very comfortable. It is in a great location. Lots of restraunts nearby. The Mexican place across the street is fantastic. The mall is only a couple miles away. The only down side is the intersection outside the hotel. None of the drivers down there know how to keep the intersection clear. Even with a green left turn arrow you can't get into the hotel because the Louisiana drivers just block the intersection.

Very clean and spacious. We were very pleased with our stay here. They had a chili dinner and social the evening we arrived as part of the cost of the room which was pleasent and the breakfast in the morning was good. The beds are a little stiff and springy but we slept fine. The room came with kitchenette which was handy.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The living area was a nice size with a couch, work desk and chair, eating and kitchen area with a full size refrigerator.

Bedroom was nice but limited space between the foot of the bed and TV stand. Bed was comfortable.

Bath area separated from vanity area.

They have a nightly reception with beer, wine and a selected dish.

Had good parking but getting out of the access onto the street can be a pain during the afternoon rush. Especially if you are trying to turn right.

This review is long overdue. I stayed at this location for almost a month in December 2019 and 2 more weeks January 2020. When I tell you they made me feel welcomed, just like family. On my last visit my room had a malfunctioning HVAC unit, they moved my room as soon as I came home from work. They addressed any issues I had during both stays and always offered up suggestions as it was my first visit to Baton Rouge. The staff that I interacted with were great. I appreciate you all. Keep being Rockstars!!

Really clean and nice hotel. Front desk was very helpful and sweet. Both day and night. Breakfast was good. Room was good. Nothing bad to say at all about this stay other than you could easily hear upstairs neighbors especially their bathroom. Lots of parking. 9.5 out of 10. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

I am really impressed with how much this team cares about creating a quality experience. Everyone on staff seems incredibly professional. For this guy, the morning breakfast is really something to get out of bed for, and the staff has been so accommodating. There are a few little fixtures in the room that could use some updating, but this is overall, a great experience that's extremely well located for most Baton Rouge outings.

We’ve stayed a several Marriot hotels, but this was our first time at a Residence Inn and it was sooo impressive! Having kids, we loved the tennis/basketball court area, with BBQ pit and fire ring. Breakfast has everything on it. The rooms were spacious and so nicely laid out with a kitchenette! Can’t wait to stay at another one. I hope all are as nice as this one!

Had everything we needed to finish our part of Thanksgiving lunch. Really nice, clean, and just the right size for the three of us to stay comfortably. Staff was very courteous and helpful; hot breakfast was delicious.

I stayed at this hotel for almost three months while I relocated to Baton Rouge for work. I don't have a single complaint. The staff is awesome. My two little girls loved the ladies working the breakfast, they were so kind to them. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent customer service, very clean, mattress is firm but not hard, terrific breakfast, good location, a bit challenging to find entrance. Overall opinion is we will be back! Just sad our stay this time was just 2 nights. Next time the outdoor pool and workout room will be used.

Kennesha was amazing at giving a Great Customer Experience and follow up. I commend her on such exceptional quality service and being a wonderful person. This was our second stay at the Residence Inn in Baton Rouge to meet friends to go shopping and be entertained in the Baton Rouge area. It was an amazing stay again and relaxing, pleasant experience thank you for your hospitality.

5 STARS for the hotel staff and I couldn’t mention the staff without giving prominence to Seanda Marshall. Seanda is the epitome of what hospitality looks like. She went above and beyond to right all wrongs during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel as she went above and beyond to ensure that it was our home away from home. I’m a frequent traveler and I’ve never experienced such a hospitable staff member at any of my previous hotels. Believe me when I say that’s saying a lot! Marriott has a gem in Seanda. Thanks again for making our home away from home such a wonderful experience.

Very nice respite after a long drive. Plus their breakfast was the best we have experienced in hotels and frequent traveling. Also would difinately recommend their iced coffee...yes even for breakfast. PS this is why we are Marriott credit card carriers.

The front desk people were very nice and pleasant to talk to. They were so great when I had left something behind in the room. The hotel itself was beautiful and well kept, as was the room I stayed in.

This place saved me last night. We got here and at first was at this terrible Hotel. We left there and came here they didn't have many left but we got lucky. Word of advice take time researching hotels before you leave. We got lucky! You may not! This place was very clean and I was at ease to use the bathroom. Please research your hotels!!!

Excellent installations, attention and price... highly recommended to Baton Rouge visitor. Have Japanese family visiting and they just loved the first impression...I will update after they leave...

Great service. Rooms are updated and large. Would recommend staying here.
