The chicken salad is amazing coming from there however I did get sushi and it was horrible...

Best prepared fresh meals for busy people! Also, I spoke with 2 managers on this visit regarding a local product they used to carry (Italian cookies). Not only did they know what I was referring to, but they told me all about the history and retirement of the company. Very friendly, making me want to return soon!

Dearmans. Ordered 1 hamburger 1 cheeseburger 2 fries and 2 cokes. 25.95. Wow they are going up as everyone is. Fast, fresh, and quick service. Great meal. Employees masked and friendly. Handicapped parking and entrance.

Had to stop at Dearman's while I was in town. I love diners and this is one cool spacious spot. Burgers, fries and a milkshake..tastes just as good as it always has. No frills just a good mean at a decent price. Great spot to take the kids or to just get together for lunch.

I visited Calvin's Supermarket in Bocage Village to buy the BEST CHICKEN SALAD hands down in Baton Rouge! This store is always clean, well stocked and a full staff of employees to help. Try the chicken salad, you will not be disappointed.

Clean center. Businesses are professional and family friendly. Should be able to find anything that you may be looking for in this particular shopping area. I did have a odd feeling and I wasn't able to recognize what it was until I went to the mall of Louisiana and it came to me I would much rather go to the bocage village area to shop because I don't have to dodge bullets from passing motorists at The Mall of Louisiana area so you can make your choice because my choice is made up now I'm going to pull my pants up and tuck my shirt in and I'm going to leave AK-47s at the house I don't need to accessorize when shopping at BICAGE VILLAGE...

La Madeleine is my favorite place because my husband and discovered it quite by accident on a trip to New Orleans when we were early in our marriage. It was the smells that drew us in in the French Quarter and kept us coming back time and time again. After Katrina it moved to the Garden District. We only found that out by accident too. Then we found out they had a location in Baton Rouge and it's just like we remember. The building may not be as old and eccentric as the original in the quarter but the food is still right on point. The place never disappoints and the people are just the way I remember.

Went in Calvin's to get some chicken salad. They probably have the best chicken salad in town. Cashiers are always friendly every vist.

Always go to Calvin's Bocage 0market. The absolute best chicken salad I've eaten. I've eaten it on such a regular basis, I may start to cluck like a hen. Lol

The soups are so good. The baked goods are exceptional. Great place to go if you and a friend haven't seen each other in awhile
