Motel 6 Vicksburg, MS

The lady up front Ms Jamie was excellent. She has a great attitude, she was sweet & nice! The room was very clean, it smelled good, it was clean and comfortable. I am Disabled & the room she put in was equipped with everything I needed. But only thing was that I think could use a little bit of a help is in the shower. I understand it’s pretty much for a wheelchair that maybe something to catch the water so it doesn’t go all over the place would help. But my overall stay with y’all was the best. Keep up the good work I appreciate you! 😁

Let's be honest the hotel is old and need renovations, but the hotel has potential ! A full remodel will bring more business to the property . Manager Maggie is awesome . Very professional and attentive. My room was clean and housekeeping service was great. A strong team & renovations will make this property number one. Hotel going in a great direction.

I was very impressed with how the building looks on the outside, the staff was very friendly and helpful even though it was fairly late. When I walked to the room I was very surprised as to how clean it was, I’ve stayed at many Motel 6 locations and this is by far the best! I didn’t have to clean anything before settling into the room. Beds/bedding were very comfortable. Everything was just so so and nice looking. It said Ella was my housekeeper. She is definitely efficient. Would definitely stay again if ever passing through again.

Got awesome service from staff. Ms.Jami Chambers was the sweetest she took my information for my room.Mr.Corderrick Carrol he made the place light up with joy an hospitality.He had a great attitude.All the staff I met was wonderful. I stayed here for 2 solid weeks while I was looking for a more permanent rental. I had a consistently great experience that was well worth their price point. It has been recently updated in every way; new fixtures, carpet, heat/air window units, bathroom counter tops, etc. The parking lot can occasionally be a bother for those staying on the front side but it was minor and never any issue late at night. It was very calm and quiet most nights. They do need to improve the cable reception with a booster as every channel had noise interference. I'm not a huge "TV person" so it wasn't a bother. Maid service was great and the refrigerator was an added bonus for this price point. I would stay again if I needed either a travel night or longer stay in Vicksburg. Laundry room was a nice bonus; very clean and accessible. Enjoyed my pleasant stay. Just a few of the small points mentioned could make this place top notch.

The front desk girl is the sweetest! She’s been here the two times we’ve stayed and always been so nice. For this price, you cannot beat the hotel rooms. Especially the ones that are stationed inside the building. Ive stayed in hotels priced $200 that were this same quality.

So far on my trip from Pismo Beach to Myrtle Beach this particular hotel has been my favorite. The people here are amazing the staff extremely accommodating pulled in late on a Saturday night and I've got all my wife's worldly belongings. Everything that has any kind of sentimental value to her is in our trailer and the people here made it to where I could sleep easy it made me feel that our trailer was secure and safe. The allowed us to put right by their office and they gave it special attention. The staff is extremely friendly I mean extremely friendly some of the best people we've been on this trip so far. And for the price the rooms are acceptable. Would I stay here again? I will go out of my way to stay here if I pass through here again just because of their staff. The people at the front desk should be given an award for their kindness and people skills. Anyways thank you motel 6 Vicksburg you've changed my attitude about people.

This is a great place. It is just a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the location but once you figure it out it is great. The front of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The clerks were friendly and very well dressed. Their shirt uniforms made them stand out. The cannons outside are great for the kids to take pics with. The price was good. I will definitely stay there again any chance I get.

The first person I met was Alexis, she was so friendly and helpful. Then I met Sherekka, head housekeeper. She is so awesome. She searched to find us the best room that would accommodate our dogs. She put us on the end on the first floor where the snack, ice,and drink machines were, a laundry room around the corner from our room, the dog walking area and our parking spot was all in one place, how many people would go out of their way like that for someone? She definitely went above and beyond, as well as Chris and Andre who befriended my husband and by the end of our 5 day stay, Chris was cutting my husband's hair in his spare time!! Tina was at the front desk at night and was constantly answering our questions, and listening to us rambling on. By checkout we were all hugging each other bye and promising to come back again. We will definitely stay at this Motel every time we're up this way, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else, these folks were not employees, they were family. ❤❤❤❤❤

The staff has been very friendly. My room has been very well kept. Anything I have needed the staff is quick to get the job done. I’ve been here for over a month for work and have enjoyed my stay 100%. Thank you for everything!

The new manager Maggie is awesome !! She is very professional when it comes to the guests . The rooms were nice and clean and we most def enjoyed our stay . Great job Maggie and to all of the Motel 6 staff !

I stayed in room 239 and the cleaning was great. I enjoy staying at this property. The head housekeeper Britney Gray is awesome. She’s very kind and care a lot about her guest.

I stayed 4 nights and it was worth the money. Very quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful, and housekeeping kept us with fresh towels. I asked for no daily cleaning (housekeeping) while we were there. Water was hot in shower. No problems at all!! If I would complain about anything I'd say the morning of checkout, the mgr (black lady with long weave) was having a meeting in the office close to the front desk but she was so loud. She really went in on the ladies of housekeeping in a bad way and I heard it word for word. That's not a good taste...very ratchet and unprofessional!! She talked to them like they were children. Definitely not something customers should see or hear. However, I would stay again.

I needed an overnight stay and didn't want or need to spend a fortune. When I walked into the lobby, I was immediately impressed with the appearance and the antebellum-like staircase, very high ceiling with beautiful chandelier was so appealing. I was greeted by Jasmine who handled my reservation and was so accommodating. She asked if I had any preferences (up or downstairs, poolside, etc) and I told her "just somewhere quiet". With a friendly smile, she responded "inside". She placed me very conveniently upstairs just at the top of the stairs from the lobby and my room was across from ice and vending. When entering the room, i found it to be very up-to-date with colors, carpeting, bedding, etc. and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable as well. The only downfalls I noticed was the bathtub could use an uplift or even stand to be replaced, but it did work well and was clean. And the WiFi was very slow. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and the price can't be beat.

Very pleasantly surprised. We needed clean soft beds and a nice hot shower. We got that and more. The place was well kept, friendly staff, and nice thick walls. We slept great, hardly any noise, and felt safe. We will definitely stay again.

Im not sure how much rooms cost because my oldest got my youngest son and I the room from thursday to Tuesday. Im diaabled in wheel chair so they gave me a room on bottom floor. When I first went i to building through side door I can smell the fresh paint. When we opened room door there was a desk, tv, and 2 beds with night stand in middle. My son went to front desk and asked them for a microwave and a refrig, and they brought brand new ones too room. The staff from front desk clerks to housekeepers were all polite, helpful and accommodating. I needed a shower chair and they brought me a chair. So my experience with them, if i needed something, they did all they could to accommodate.

Motel 6 is way different then it was months ago. It has improved a lot. Very safe and clean property now. The new manager Boris is doing nice with this location. Front desk worker Shay is very helpful and very friendly. Definitely would recommend anyone to come here.

Staff was great, Most of all the Head House keeper Britney Gray was awesome!!! She delivered clean room made sure we had clean linens and made sure the housekeeper was doing their job!!! Wonderful place I’ve been here for a month and every was great. Stacy Davis she treated us like wonderful great, I thought she was the GM they way she cared herself , she’s a awesome MOD

I was very surprised at the quality you get for the price. With it being a newly renovated property everything is clean and modern. What I really liked was the rooms had laminate (hardwood would have been nicer but hey the rate was super cheap) flooring. So when I walked in, it was a breath of fresh air knowing that I wasn't walking or putting my stuff on nasty carpet. Wifi worked great. There are some rooms with a microwave and fridge but you hve to ask for them. The only true draw backs that I saw were, no iron or ironing board, no hair dryer, no workout facility or breakfast. The value you get makes up for all of that. Location is great, it's right across from the outlet mall and the visitors center/national park. Very safe environment. The hotel staff was so accommodating and seemed to genuine care about their patrons. I will definitely be staying again and recommending to all my friends.
