Super 8 by Wyndham Vicksburg

Older hotel, but well run, clean, modest breakfast (coffee and muffins) was surprising considering how reasonable the rates were. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed our stay more than the following night at a well known chain that cost three times as much and had an expensive price tag on every one of the breakfast items in the lobby.

For the price in the area it was priced far better. It did not have a continental breakfast but had coffee and breakfast bars. Place is older, not up to date but everything works and is clean. Our room was big and had everything you need for a overnight stay to be comfortable. Honored my military discount. very friendly staff. The lady that checked us in was a delight to deal with.. Very close to military park. Easy on/ off to I-20.

If you need a room last minute, this is a good place to go. The front desk lady was very accommodating and put us in a room that was convenient to our vehicle because we have had issues in the past of things being stolen over night. She told us where we could park so our vehicle and boat could be seen on camera. The room was clean, quiet, and had plenty of hot water and working air/heat. I also love they had options of queen beds instead of full beds because we were so much more comfortable. If you’re looking for the best hotel ever with a million accommodations, this wouldn’t be your cup of tea. We are simple people that were in town for hunting and just looking for a clean place to lay our head and take nice shower. I’m glad I chose to go with this hotel.

They've done a lot of updates on the building and rooms that I could see. Evening was very clean, though the carpets in the room still need updating. The bathroom was new and so clean the tub was a little slippery. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would happily visit again.

Room was clean as was bathroom. Staff were polite and courteous, even helping show me towards my room.
First room I've had that did not contain a mini fridge or microwave. Maybe I misread something? Everything else was wonderful. Super peaceful. We got a great night's sleep 💤

Great place to stay in a convenient location! I stayed 3 nights, my room was clean, and had all the advertised amenities in good, working order. TV was larger than most, and the cable worked fine, with a lot of extra channels. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late in the evening but after hearing we had 2 small kids with us, the lady working the desk let us swim in the pool until it was time for her to go home! Such a wonderful gesture & blessing for the kiddos. All of the staff was really nice. Room was clean.

Let me start by saying Christine at the front desk is simply amazing! Very helpful we ended up staying longer because of her. All the staff is amazing the rooms are nice clean and the beds feel good. Look no further book your room here. Location is central

We were displaced from the ice storm they were so kind and booked us right away. We couldn't ask for better people who were truly amazing. It was a blessing we could get a room cause it was so cold without lights at home. Had 2 Dogs allowed us to bring

small pet deposit we didn't mind our dogs were on leashes when took outside. These people are amazing. I'll go back.

My family and I have stayed at other places in the past when we’ve come to Vicksburg, and we always end up back at the Super 8. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly. It’s not the Marriott by far, but definitely worth the money that you pay. I think we stay here so often even the housekeeping lady remembers us and our son. We’ll definitely be back any time we’re in town.

VERY pleased!!! Newly remolded rooms, Super clean, Comfortable beds, wonderful staff! My husband & I were on a 10hr road trip, stopped to stay one night & we're so impressed we came back & stayed on our way home! Samantha was our front desk lady both times, she's supper sweet & friendly! Thank you for your hospitality!

Very nice place to stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff that seem to know the area. We felt very safe here and it is a quiet place to rest. The beds were queen sized and extremely comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again when we are traveling

Desk attendant was courteous and on point..The room was smaller than expected, but all the amenities were there. Good location... A pleasant experience..

Very pleased with this hotel. We stayed here on our way home from Georgia. The price is great for what you get. The hotel is newly remodeled and very clean. Even the little shampoo and conditioner was nice! The room was little, but it worked for us. We will be stopping here in the future.

Family evacuated from New Orleans and called this place home for a week, front desk was friendly and sweet. Housekeeping was super friendly , But the other people from New Orleans that showed up there as well was wonderful, really felt like a bit of home away from home. God bless.

They were very friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean. I had booked for two nights , ended up coming a day earlier and they worked me in without making me wait til a room was cleaned! Great service! Pool didn't have clear water but they did say they were working on it. But overall great experience and services!

The lady that checked us in was very helpful. I believe her name was Terri. We checked in Friday, October 7th around 8. We had originally had a suit on the second floor, but couldn't make it work due to having my grandmother who can't do stairs. Terri worked with us and was able to get us a room on the 1st floor.

The room was nice. As a diabetic I must carry my insulin with me when I travel. I use reusable ice containers that need to remain frozen to keep my insulun safe. This handicapped room had a freezer in the refrigerator. That was a big plus!
