Dr Knowland did a very nice job re reviewing a potential total knee replacement for me. There was good discussion re options. Good review of X-rays of knees. I felt very well informed re the potential knee surgery. Gb

Well since a few of my family members recommended him, I saw him too for my knee. He did an amazing job (and his staff), on explaining what needs to happen, that one day I will need operations, but I’m too young at this age since knee replacement lasts 25 years only. Also he understood how hard it was going to be for me to do what I need to do, stop nicotine all together, even if I majorly cut down. It’s a hard pill to swallow, and I tried not to tear up, on top of a fusion in the back I need, so exercise is like basically out of the question for me. He offered tissues. He was very kind but to the point, and what has to happen. I appreciated the bluntness, his sincerity. My family members that saw him had excellent post surgery results! So part of me is excited because this is no way to live. On the other hand, it seems like I’m in a huge rut and terrified on what needs to happen.
Anyway, excellent staff, and amazing Dr. Knowlan!!!

Dr. Knowlan was clear and concise on the information he gave to me. He was pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Knowlan performed a total knee replacement for me eight weeks ago. I am so impressed with the whole procedure from the initial consultation, to trying some non-surgical approaches first, and then the surgery and recovery. He is so patient, calm, and relaxed which helped relieve my stress about the TKR. I totally trust him and highly recommend him. He is the best!

Many options would have less likely success, so final option of knee replacement will be up to me when I can no longer tolerate the pain and decreased range of motion. I would recommend him and his staff to others who share arthritis and joint deterioration

Last visit was great, informative and very positive.

Professional efficient pleasant check-in and rooming. Prompt providers who are knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Knowlan M.D. and Peter Larson P.A. are outstanding. Smart, focused and skilled. And they are nice men.

Dr Knowlan explains everything in great detail. I have the greatest trust in him and appreciate all the help he has given me, very professional and a good guy to boot.
