Jinks Creek Waterfront Grille

We had the best time at this rooftop experience! Bridget and Adam did such a great job serving us, and the food was absolutely wonderful! The grouper fricassee, and the Jewel of the sea was so tasty! Great food, wonderful drinks, and an amazing view! We are so thankful for the great service we experienced. We also met some new friends as we sat at the bar! We will definitely be back and suggest it to anyone coming to the area!

We sat upstairs outside. Had a beautiful view of the sunset. The food was amazing, but I felt the small piece of fish with rice was overpriced at $37 when most dinners were not as expensive. Our server was very friendly and informative.

At 6:00 p.m. on a weekday the restaurant was crowded but we were able to get a seat immediately at the bar. The bartender was very nice and attentive. The restaurant seems very clean and maintained well. My whole family loved the dishes they chose. My son got the chicken sandwich and it looked great. He ate every bite. Actually, everyone cleaned their plate!

Had the shrimp, scallops over angel pasta with lobster sauce. The best seafood dish I ever had. The sauce was thick. A must go to if your visiting Ocean Isle Beach.

I can't thank everyone enough for a wonderful evening! We had a large group of people - the rehearsal party for my son's wedding. I was very nervous because they had just opened for the season & staffing was limited. The deck became much busier than expected for so early in the year, but everything turned out perfectly. The food was amazing, staff & management were just wonderful! Thanks to all of you!

So, so, good! Go as soon as possible!
We went to Jinks Creek for dinner while on vacation in OIB in July 2021. It was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend a visit. The food was amazing. We had a party of 9 hard to please eaters, and every single person said their dinner and drinks were fabulous. And the service!!! Ernest was our waiter and he was great - attentive and helpful. He absolutely enhanced an already wonderful evening. We loved every minute of our visit to Jinks Creek and have already told our friends and family to go as soon as possible. A few recommendations - the wedge salad was so good. The candied bacon really made it great. Two people who had the lobster bisque won't stop talking about it. Two of our group had the Philly and loved it. Others had the caprese chicken, shrimp and grits, and surf and turf - all excellent. For drinks we had the Jinks Juice, which was good but one of our group ordered the Lime and the Coconut which was much better! The Cheer Wine Old Fashioned was also really good. We waited about an hour and 45 min for our table and it was well worth the wait but maybe try to get a reservation if you know you are going (we made a last minute decision, hence the wait). While we waited we took advantage of the amazing views to take some photos.

Yummy food. Husband ordered a half of chicken with rice and collards. Huge portions! I ordered a mouthwatering grilled Blackened Snapper salad. Our friend's food choices were good too. Nice atmosphere and views. Outstanding service, very attentive. See photos.

Came about an hour prior to sunset and my shrimp and scallops over angel hair pasta had an amazing pink sauce that reminded me of thick and creamy lobster bisque soup! I couldn't have asked for a better meal! Well worth the $37.00. And we had a beautiful pink and orange sunset.

We are new to Ocean Isle and chose this restaurant as it was close to where we were staying. Just blown away by the location, view, and most importantly the FOOD!!

My absolute favorite dish was the brussel sprouts... they peel all the leaves off and quickly fry them in 300° oil. It has a very light honey, peanut, onion flour glaze that is phenomenal. I could've eaten the whole bowl I have to say they were the best fried brussels sprouts I've ever had, ANYWHERE.

We order the grilled shrimp with pickled onions and a side of butter, they were perfectly cooked snapped a little as he bit into them and very fresh and flavorful. Loved the cocktail sauce!!

The ribeye was fantastic and even though I asked for A1 sauce out of habit, was so perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare it didn't need any condiments.

We ordered a wedge salad in lieu of the potatoes and the roasted scallion ranch dressing was perfect. The bacon was flavorful but not overpowering or too salty.

We also got a side of blue cheese dressing to taste, everything being made in house, and it too was perfect. We dipped our ribeye in it :)

Not strong blue cheese very light and flavorful. The Green's were salted and you can taste the garlic but it was not overpowering.

Overall an absolutely fantastic meal. The staff was very attentive and accommodating!

I absolutely loved everything I tried. The chef came out to our table which was lovely. I had the Mediterranean Chicken, just wow! It was fantastic. We sampled all the deserts which were equally delicious. We had the flatbread appetizer. Yum! One of the best food experiences that we have had, and we’ve had a lot. My husband swooned over the crab cakes! Beautiful waterfront view!

Phenomenal, we went in March at 730pm, the place was at 25% capacity. It was pleasant. I can understand why people complain about the noise during the summer. It's a small venue, the food was excellent. Pictured is the sesame crusted tuna. The short rib ravioli was excellent, the strawberry short cake cheese cake was excellent. The cheerwine bourbon had a good pour of knob creek bourbon but could have preferred a stronger splash of cheerwine.

This place was pretty amazing but a little pricey. I ordered the lobster ravioli special which was like 29 bucks. You didn't get much but it tasted great and I wouldn't know where else to get anything like this. The ambiance is great and the scenery, definitely stop by for a date night and asked to be seated at the bar so you can get a view of the inlet.

The food was awesome. Great views no the evening. Definitely recommend this is you are in town. Great indoor or outdoor seating.

Great food - amazing NY strip. Nice deck area for when you're waiting and great view of the waterway. Loved the place. Pretty crowded but expected that, especially for a place on the island.

Upstairs bar is great, also full menu. Cocktails are below average, stick to basic / simple things. Pricey for what it is but understandable. Food is just alright. Friendly staff all around. Geta really packed during peak hours.

I looked at the web site and was happy to see there was no wait. Upon arrival the hosted said there was a 30 minute wait. She informed us that the owner turned this message on. We opted to eat at the bar as there was no wait. Our bartender was amazing. I had the raspberry lemonade cocktail. It was tasty. Our dinners were delicious. I had the pan fried flounder with scallops, my husband had the filet with crab cake (crab cake was average) and his brother had fried oysters and shrimp.

The food was absolutely amazing. Our table ordered lobster ravioli, flatbread and jewels of sea pasta. Everything was fanatic. The views were stunning and our waitress, Bridget was wonderful.

This is the nicest restaurant on Ocean Isle Beach. We’ve been for dinner and the food is amazing and high quality. We’ve also been for drinks and the bartender is on fire. Steve (the bartender) was killing it. He was the only bartender on a Friday night and he kept pace and made the best drinks! Ask for the skinny, spicy margarita!!

Steve was so friendly and quick to serve even though he was extremely busy! If you haven’t been to Jinks, GO! You will not be disappointed.

PS: the sunset cannot be beat!

Such a great meal and experience at Jinks! Best view on the island too! Our server Wendy was amazing and the chef Dan is putting out some awesome dishes!
