Marias Pizzeria

This is an absolutely amazing restaurant. Stopped in b/c heard it was the best authentic pizza oven pizza around. It did not disappoint. The dough is so Tasty! We got the Maria’s special pizza as well as some apps. The meatballs ridiculously good. And the 2x cooked wings were saucy and tasty. Angel was our server/bartender, for a group of 8 she was spot on. Service with a smile and extremely friendly. Made our dining experience perfect. We do frequent OIB and Maria’s will now be a staple for all future visits. Clean bathrooms! Thank you.

First I want to say how good it smelled inside!! To add to, it was such a cute and clean place! stopped by for some lunch, unfortunately my sister wanted green peppers which they did not have but she really wanted a sweet tea and the staff was so nice about it all. I will definitely come back and actually try this place!

My first time eating here i went for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised to find it's not just a pizza place, but has a very nice italian menu, including pasta dishes and a bar. I had the homemade meatballs with ricotta appetizer and it was delicious. I also got the lasagna with fresh made noodles and would totally recommend 👌 I will be going back and i think this is a must visit if you are going out for dinner in the Ocean Isle area.

My BF and I came here and sat at the bar on a Friday night..had some drinks and an order of meatballs while we waited for a pizza and some sausage stuffed banana peppers to go. Angela was great..friendly, attentive and made a great rum drink. We will definitely come back next time we're in town.

WOW! I finally a place that knows how to make pizza! The crust was crunchy and delicious, the sauce was perfect and the toppings,.. THE TOPPINGS were fresh vegetables with plenty of flavor and tasty meats.
I have missed pizza this good for a couple of decades.

We came to eat for my birthday this year, and it was awesome. The food was delicious, fresh, and came out the perfect temps. The bread is a delight of flavor explosions inside a crunchy crust with a soft gooey inside that made me wish I was Italian. Every bite was excellent. Then we went next door and grabbed donuts and Cheesecake for the next day, and every single one of them was also incredible. Very kind, attentive servers and management, the decor is cute, and its reasonably priced. Definitely try this place if you love food.

We get Marias pizza every time we are in town. The pizza is great! We have vegan family members, so we get their vegetable pizza minus the cheese, and it is so good, we all love that as well.

We have ordered a number of pizza takeouts which have been great. This afternoon, we ordered a Calzone and a Stromboli. They were absolutely delicious! The cooked dough was both chewy and crispy, with plenty of fillings. We are looking forward to very soon coming back to order these dishes again!!! Great table service!

Impressive strip mall pizzeria and restaurant with a great friendly staff, nice wine list, a selection of brews (not much local however), and a great menu of pizza, calzone/Stromboli, salads, pastas, and entrees including a couple of options for those avoiding carbs or gluten. Daily specials. Food is delicious and fresh and our table ate it up. The team is friendly - when we were looking for a place on a social media group they enthusiastically welcomed us. Will be a regular stop for us.

Having enjoyed the tastiness of the 'Maria's Pizza, without additional toppings, we were pleasantly surprised to see this iconic photo of the 'Men on the Beam'. Unbeknownst to many, the photo was captured, so many years ago, by Charlie Ebetts, a renowned photographer from Florida, who also happens to be the father of my sister-in-law.

Went in for lunch on a Wednesday and was sat right away. Place is nice, very clean, friendly servers, and the food was great. I got a Steak Calzone and Fried Mozzarella.

Terrific Pappardelle Bolognese -- very meaty red sauce with homemade pasta that is cooked to perfection. Their pizzas and Strombolis are also quite delicious! Attentive staff; great atmosphere; very busy at dinner time but worth the wait.

This restaurant is also affiliated with Spilt Milk next door. And that's a whole different review, but let me just say they have very tasty donuts and sorbets.

Amazing food and many gluten free choices. Excellent service even for a large party!

Had not been back for a while due to your experience would chage depending on who was working that night but after having a bad interaction with a host at a pizza place in shallott, we decided to give Marias another chance. Glad we did it was the best experience we have had since we moved to OIB 3 years ago. Food was hot, delicious and service was spot on. Way to go Maria's you have gotten us back and now we can enjoy fresh Pizza, calamari and bake ziti without having to worry.

Maria’s is consistently a great meal! The pizza, Stromboli’s, dinners, and calamari is awesome. The staff is always friendly and do an excellent job. You will not regret a visit to Maria’s.

Ricotta pizza and meatball appetizer were both delicious. The pizza crust was particularly good, especially dipped into the marinara that came with the meatballs. I can't speak to atmosphere as I ordered takeout, but the inside of the restaurant appears very charming and clean.

I had called Little Caesar’s for a large pepperoni carry out. I had no idea the pizzeria was inside a gas station. I walked in to pick up the pizza and liked the looks of none of it. The operation was a turn off. I left. Maria’s happened to be across the street. I called and ordered a basic pepperoni pizza. They had it ready in 15 minutes. It was probably the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had. Seriously. I ordered it well done. It was near perfection!

Had a great experience. Angela was fabulous her suggestions chicken parm with zoodles was delicious. My 1st lemon drop martini was amazing. I will definitely be back - my next trip to North Carolina

First of all, our server, Ellis, was absolutely phenomenal. He was attentive without hovering, super kind and accommodating, and just really personable in general. My husband and I were there with our toddler which we’re always nervous about— Ellis was so kind to us when we needed to just take a slice of pizza outside and even offered to stop what he was doing to help by bringing my water. My husband and I have both worked in hospitality/service industry for years and we were thoroughly impressed by the service. In addition to Ellis, the hostess was also kind.

The food was really good. The pizza was great! We ordered a meat lovers pizza and it was absolutely covered in toppings. My mom got a shrimp pasta on special and said it was the best meal she’s had this week.

We were grateful for the kindness and understanding we received being there with a young child. That’s really unique. Even at a family oriented beach, sometimes when you walk into a restaurant with a toddler you see people brace themselves and treat you a little coldly (which we totally understand and try our best to pivot and get food to-go if the little one is having big feelings) but that was 100% not the case here. Can’t speak highly enough of our experience. Thank you guys.

We love the calzones, stromboli and sauce here. We're starting to become regulars now for these. Being from NY, it was hard finding good pizza and sauce here... thank you Maria's! Yum! 👍❤
