Ocean Isle Fish Company

Heck of a view and our party of 20 took up a good amount of room. Service was a little slow but it was Veterans Day Weekend and they only have 2 on staff. Now, the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff made up for the wait. Also, being on Isle Time helped too.

Food was great - ordered the Soft Shell Crab and it was excellent. Highly recommend. Not a drinker, but they had plenty to choose from and it was on point from what the other 18 guys said.

Plenty of laughs and full bellies that day. It is always a staple for us to stop in when we come down.

Everything tastes fresh from the water; not frozen, thawed, and fried like some places. I recommend the crab bites as an appetizer. It was a tad cold inside, only reason I gave a 4 on atmosphere.

Ate there twice. Tourist season and off season. Place was great both times. Fresh food, friendly attentive staff (Tyler) Will definitely come back soon. The shrimp po boy is really good. Boiled peel and eat shrimp tasty. Crab cake sandwich fantastic.

We went to eat here last week on our family vacation, we had a party of 6 and arrived at 4 pm which was perfect timing, it got crowded quick. We loved the atmosphere and the Tiki Bar is a great addition, with a waterfront view. I enjoyed the shrimp P.O.’boy sandwich and the dynamic roll. Faith was a great waitress, we’ll definitely return on our trip next year. We had 0 complaints.

Our family had a really great experience at Ocean Isle Fish Company! The wait was long (1 hr, 30 min) but there was plenty to do while we waited. Plenty of seating overlooking the water, a store on the second floor where you can shop, a bar on the bottom level, and even a sandpit for kids to play. I got the shrimp and lobster nachos and they were delicious! I was shocked at how much seafood was actually included on the nachos. We had some family members who got the island bowl and enjoyed it and the kids loved the mozzarella sticks! We will be coming back to Ocean Isle Fish Company next summer!

Fresh caught fish combined with a rooftop bar and excellent service, you can't get much better. The bang bang shrimp and Fried Mahi Sandwich are the best you can find within 100 miles. The Captains Special can easily feed two so keep that in mind if you order that. Will be coming back for more real soon!

Great spot and atmosphere for dinner. Best view around. Gotta get here early. The shrimp is great. Clean bathrooms. Overall very happy.

Food was fantastic. Portion size was huge! Awesome view of the intercoastal waterway and surrounding homes. Need to go at sunset. :)

Extensive menu. Food came out fresh and hot in an appropriate amount of time. Well cooked and lightly seasoned. Service was good. Ample portions.

We had a party of 10. Was able to find a seat easy upstairs. Due to short help understandable had to wait in line to order. But well worth the wait. Everyone was very pleased with their food. Wife and I ordered the lobster shrimp nachos was huge but very delicious the two of us finished it off. Will go again.

Me & friend stopped by the Fish Company for lunch. Loved the atmosphere, it was right on the water. The food was delicious & the beer was cold!! You have to check it out if you’re in Ocean Isle.

The island style shrimp bowl was delicious! Huge, loaded dish with shrimp, sausage and pineapple! Very tasty! Calamari was good too

Cute place with a nice view. The waiter was great, kept up on drinks and waters and gave us the time we needed to catch up. Seafood nachos were delicious as was the shrimp and grits and the fish bites. The burger was very good looking and my brother enjoyed it. Hurricane shrimp needed a little more sauce but just my opinion 🙂. Will definitely go back.

Super cute spot! I got the shrimp po boy, and a local beer. Always always ALWAYS drink local! If you’re in OIB, I highly recommend this spot. I wish the weather had been nicer. I bet the view is spectacular on a sunny day.

Went for sushi. Sat at the bar. The bartender was great. Very attentive. Got to watch the guys making our sushi. They were very good and quick. The food was excellent and obviously very fresh.

Alot of food for the money. Will definitely drive the extra 20 minutes to go past calabash to eat there.

We did the walk up tiki bar and it was so quick. Much better than the 1.5 hour wait we were given.

Completely blown away by the food quality, service, and atmosphere! This is one amazing seafood restaurant that you will come back to every time you visit! The food portions are amazing! Plenty of food to share! I highly recommend their fresh catch of the day BLT. Lots to choose from including some very tasty sushi! Pricing is good and won't break the bank. This is a great place to enjoy the sun or you can eat indoors. My family and I have marked this as one of our must return to restaurants when we're in the area. Also, give their gift shop a look. Lots of cool nautical gifts and a full fishing gear store.

We stopped here on a whim while out boating for the day! The service was great and the food was pretty good. Fast service and decent prices. My kids had burgers topped with all sorts of goodies, to include bacon and shrimp. Myonly complaint was my crunchy sushi roll. It was barely Luke warm and the fish wasn't cooked as it should be in a crunch roll.
