This place has good tasting food, friendly staff, and my favorite part: the pool table! My fiancé and I came here for lunch, we sat near the pool table, played a game, and enjoyed every bit of food we ordered. The flank steak was tender and very flavorful, the corn and Crab bisque was delicious, and the spinach cheese dip was also very tasty! My fiancé had buffalo wings and he said they were done just right! I had the bartender make me a passion fruit lemonade and went for a 2nd round within minutes! Lol. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

A really good experience. Outdoor meal with a live band. The food was fresh and hot, the servers were nice and helpful. Especially Amanda! Eating at the restaurant is 100x better than getting it to go. I had the crawfish meat pies, and a softshell crab po-boy. 10/10. I also got to try the Thai Tuna, and the flavor from the sauce makes it worth every dollar.

Everything was great only complaint was the volume of the music. Could not hold a conversation and we were the only table in the area by the pool table this past Sunday. Food and service excellent as always.

Very good food and worth every penny

This has been a long standing establishment that I took way too long to try out. It's not very fancy, but cozy and unique. The important part is the food seems to be VERY consistent...something often overlooked in reviews. The wings might be the best in town, get them "extra crispy". Best cheese fries around town as well. Small outdoor patio with a band from time to time.

Great place to hang out. Outside has live music, so the inside is quieter & more relaxed. The inside plays 90s rock. All the food looked and smelled good. The staff was friendly and quick to serve. All the customers were friendly and nice too. All around, I'd say this place is a gem. Beers a tiny bit overpriced but the atmosphere makes it worth it. 👌 will definitely go back.

This place is very cool , the bartenders were very sweet and helpful. My favorite place in Hammond. I will be back when I am in the area.

You have to try to crab and corn soup really good, very nice people and great prices, they also had a special going on steaks last night

I get the chicken wing special every Wednesday and a glass of wine while waiting. The wings are hot and cooked to perfection. The drinks are good and servers / bartenders are friendly. Pricing is budget friendly, offering great prices for a large quantity of food.

It's an eclectic causal atmosphere. Part bar, part restaurant. A place where the locals hang out. A fabulous patio, often with live entertainment, and the food is always on point; serving a variety of Louisiana dishes, high-end pub grub, and classic favorites, sometimes with a twist. They are known locally for their burgers, their baked potato (don't skimp on the toppings - you want it all), and the Kickin' Chicken. I've also had their grilled pork chop - delish!

I had the Blackened Grilled Chicken entree and it was AMAZING! Their house salad is the best house salad I’ve ever had.
My husband had the Hot Strips (appetizer) tossed in Buffalo Sauce and he loved it!
Our daughter ate more fries from this restaurant than any other we’ve been to! Definitely will go again!! We have lived in Hammond for 4 years and have never been to it. Can’t believe we’ve waited so long! Definitely our new favorite restaurant!
Also, the honey mustard was amazing!

I've been once, years ago, but this is the first time my fiance has gotten to eat here. Absolutely worth it, the atmosphere was great, the service was great, and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend!

29 years is a long time to be in love with Jim and Dave’s ‘Kickin’ Chicken, but here I am. Still completely enjoying it with a baked potato and hope to continue for another 29 years. The tenders are also amazing! This place is a real gem in Hammond and the folks that work there are exceptional. 10/10

The staff was super awesome. They knew about the beets and the food came in huge portions. The atmosphere was super laid back and the hole-in-the-wall ambiance is perfect for a Sunday afternoon driver destination. Love love love this place. Felt like i was a kid again, with a good beer in my hand.

Great Atmosphere, drink ya a skipper there yum! Food was off the chain!
