Cate Street Seafood Station

Cate seafood station… more like great seafood station 😋 ordered the fried green tomatoes and the breading was perfect! Followed by a yummy refreshing cucumber salad. We all ordered the sushi lunch specials which is a great deal. Along with that we also got couple specialty rolls, which were all fully loaded. Too full to continue we did order some Oreo cheesecake for to-go. The food is good but our service was phenomenal. Never once did we have an empty drink, and our food was perfectly timed. Asia was very knowledgeable of the menu and made our experience here 10/10

Wow. Just wow! There wasn't a single thing we didn't like! And we got A LOT of food. Their pepper jack cheese sticks are the stuff of dreams... their sushi was unmatched and bread pudding to die for. Can't wait to travel through again and stop by here for a bite!

Been here a few times, and the service and food have always been consistently great. I really need to order less at lunchtime... but it's just so good! The sushi is always fresh and top-notch. We watched the burgers and other items go to other tables and second guessed our order... but you really can't go wrong here.

We ate dinner with family while here. A relative died recently and we contacted the owner of this restaurant to arrange a meal reception for immediate family after the burial. The servers are owner are very curious and polite. Service has been wonderful every time we come. I would advise against their pasta if you don't like runny sauce. Despite this their crayfish and shrimp Alfredo is awesome. So is their whodat pasya.Their sushi, burgers, poboys, and desert in general is great. For desert the brownies and bread pudding are wonderfull. I personally like their namesake cate street sushi roll and Caesar salad but really enjoy this restraunt for its eclectic menu and variety.

Atmosphere - this building is the old attraction train station. They have kept the old signate and rooms. The side rooms are able to be reserved for events. There is a long bar and a side patio for outside eating. The restrooms are by the bar and have original wing back doors from the 50s.

Overall I would recommend this as an eclectic, centrally locate restraunt with great service, great food, a good bar, and warm staff.

Update.
We went back and tried other dishes.i had the pork chops and asked then to blscken then. They were great. I tried the crawfish pepperjack cheese sauce and it was really good.
My wife had the Cajun chicken pasta. She liked that. I had the Cajun catfish dish. It was really good. The service was real slow. It was friday at 7 pm but i mean real slow. We had our check while still waiting on our last round of drinks that took about 15 minutes. We will definitely be back to this place though.

This visit to Care Street has been the absolute best service out of any other place I've been. James is our waiter but the other staff has also been great. Our waiter made sure we had everything! Didn't have time wait for refills, either. Food was great as well.

Just had a great dinner. Saturday night, we joined waitlist via yelp. Arrived and were seated immediately. Our server, Matt, was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had sushi, steak, and a chicken nugget platter. So good! Ambience was fun and energetic with lots of celebrations. Definitely plan on returning soon.

We enjoyed all aspects of the traditional Cajun and fusion menu items. I ordered the tuna steak which was very nice.

Erik was amazing! This was our first time at Cate Street and Erik blew us away with his service! Such attention to detail!!! The sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had. We will be back and will definitely ask for Erik, he made this whole experience so enjoyable. Such a breath of fresh air to have someone show so much care. You can tell he loves his job. He also did a backflip for us, it was so funny.

Love everything about Cate Street Seafood! Every time we go I cant wait to come eat again! The sushi is always so fresh and the best around! I look forward to each visit!

Cate Street has good service and good food that is very reasonably priced. I had the catfish and my wife had the tuna. We enjoyed the food, and again, it was very affordable. The portions were large and we had more than we could eat. The side dishes were garlic fried potatoes and mixed zucchini and green beans, and they were very tasty.

Recommended.

Excellent atmosphere, very attentive waitress, the Boston sushi roll was large and delicious. Definitely going back! Not to forget the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer!

Came in as a party of 11 on a Thursday evening. Mathias was the BEST server. Very attentive and was great at reading the vibe with appropriate energy. Couldn't ask for a better server. Everything was timely and delicious.

The building is a converted train station, with great character. Sydney is an efficient server and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our food came out quickly. The pepper jack bites were perfect. The steak tips, fried okra, and garlic potatoes were tasty, and my oyster po’boy was wonderful. We were too full for dessert, but they sounded good. We would eat there again. The sushi looked beautifully prepared, and I would like to try it.

My boyfriend and I went out for a date, and coming here was the best decision we made. Our server, Hannah, was absolutely amazing the whole time we were there. She recommended the sweet chili edamame, which while it was good, I would get a different flavor next time.

My family and I was here on Halloween night. We have an amazing experience! Sydney D was very friendly and on top of everything to ensure that we are taken care of. Everyone at the table enjoyed everything as well. Can’t wait until my next visit and I’ll ask for her again! :)

Everything there was excellent but the tuna steak was next level

We have been to Cate Street twice recently and let me tell you, I could not have been more impressed. Parker was our server both times and the service was excellent. I had the Tuna Steak and my wife grabbed a few sushi rolls. Presentation and food quality were spot on both times! Well done Cate Street Crew! Highly recommend this spot!

Parking lot is almost always full during lunch which is one of the clearest indicators of a great place to eat. Love the outdoor seating. Great food and service. Great staff. Thanks.

We stopped in for a yummy bite on a Saturday at lunch. Our server was very helpful. My granddaughter enjoyed her pasta Alfredo so much she wants to learn to cook it for herself now
