Lee’s Diner

Lee’s has been a favourite of ours for years now. We passed it up so many times but one day decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did!!! We have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is divine & service is always satisfactory. The prices are great for the portions, as well.
On my most recent visit, I ordered seafood gumbo, onion rings and the shrimp and fish plate.

Tonight I tried Lee's for the first time. I really loved the atmosphere and vibe there. It was like a step back into time.. The diner was so cool. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. They had a great selection and it was packed. I got the fried fish and my daughter got the pasta. The portions were huge and did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh, hot, and super delicious. Our waitress was very good and made sure everything was to our liking. Being a new resident of Hammond all I can say is I love this place and I will be back. Great place for families too!

It’s a little tight packed on the weekends.
Never disappoints though!

It was my first time going today and they were absolutely AMAZING!! I think our waiters name was brad? But no doubt the best service I've ever had and I can't wait to come back.

I have tried something different each time I order pick-up from Lee's and have yet to be disappointed. The Balboa Philly Steak and Cheese- is OMG Delicious. The steak tender, the veggies all grilled to perfection. This has been the best steak and cheese ever in my life. (Maybe had around 50 in my lifetime so far) TRY IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!!

The country fried steak was amazing. The homemade onion rings were perfect. The fried mushrooms are a must. Best dining experience in a while. Highly recommend stopping if you are passing through. I would give them 10 stars across the board. Staff, service, and food were all the best.

Friendly service, loved watching the locals interact with the waitress. Thank you for replacing my eggs with grits. The meal was perfect. The gravy was pretty good. The grits were PERFECT.... & the biscuit with the added gravy was just right. Good dinner, I'll come back when I'm in the area.

Fun sock hop to dine in! I’ve been everywhere and you can’t find one of these! Great food selection, service and city! Can’t beat the taste or atmosphere. Gotta try it!

Cute 1950's style diner with a clean, fresh look. Food here is very good - but don't come expecting steak - it's drive-in diner style food. Very simple,, nothing fancy,, but always tastes great. The wait staff is always friendly and prompt. Great for a quick bite, as the food usually comes out fast. Very happy every time we go here to eat.
And the Onion rings are the absolute best- the very best!!!

Service was relatively quick, but in their defense the restaurant was absolutely packed. Super fun retro diner type place nestled into the middle of a downtown area. Really cool looking building too

Best place I've eaten in a long time. I was an OTR truck driver and have eaten a lot good places. Based on food quantity / quality / price. Everything was amazing.

I am new to this area and last night went to this hometown institution, called Lee's Diner for the first time last night, and I will be back! Spaghetti wasn't my favorite but still very good, Chicken fried steak is a delightful guilty pleasure and if you want to try and eat "healthier" check out their chefs salad. Of course since their ranch dressing is so good I am sure my salad was no longer healthy, but it was so good! And their malts! Seriously it should be illegal to go there and not get a malt! Are you like me and new to the area? Lee's is a must try!

My family & I have enjoyed their food for 5+ years! Food is always fresh, hot & plentiful! Everyone is courteous! They are like family!

They have the best crawfish etouffee I have ever eaten. I love to order their malts. They are the only ones that make a butterscotch flavor.

Everyone was so friendly. The batter on the mushrooms and onion rings was very light and fluffy. The hamburger was so big and juicy. Bring your appetite.

Excellent food. Reminded me of an old fashioned diner. I am told it has been there for a while. Very clean.

The food was great the service was excellent best milkshakes in the area.
