Breaking down is no fun. Breaking down in an unfamiliar city halfway through your trip late on a Saturday before a holiday is even less fun. Pablo diagnosed the problem quickly, and made sure the part was ordered immediately so that Monday morning we could get rolling back to our destination. He was friendly, kind, and an excellent mechanic. So grateful for the luck that brought us to him!

Pablo is the GO TO guy for any mechanical work on your car!! He has been a saving grace! He has helped me put a whole new engine in my vehicle and Just this last weekend we had a blast diagnosing my check engine light in my Subaru!! Though it was trial and error he found the issue and we were able to repair it in no time!! When if I took the car somewhere else they would’ve said they did not know the issue or whosoever wanted outrageous price for the diagnosis. Pablo is the most honest and hardworking person I have met and will be the only mechanic I go to from now on!!

Pablo took great care of my car and has a 1 year warranty on his work. His price was very affordable at $200+ below the other bid I got for the job. I'll be using him again.

I had a car overheat on the freeway. I was close to another mechanic so I went there first. I quickly decided to get a second opinion and went over to Pablo at dextrous automotive. The communication and service was way better. He was there on a weekend, called us back within minutes, and kept a professional tone focused on the facts rather than playing on heightened emotions. He went out of his way to be available and help us when we needed to return to get bags out of the car. His price quotes weren’t an idle “around x hundred” subject to change on a whim. He sent us an emailed quote with itemized prices for parts and labor. When we did see the prices they were hundreds of dollars less than what the first mechanic had given us. You can tell that he’s an honest mechanic that takes satisfaction in actually helping his customers. All in all he was a refreshing change from the mechanics that I’ve dealt with in the past and I’d highly recommend him to anyone.

Pablo at Dexterous Automotive in Ogden is by far the best mechanic I've come across in well....forever. He was kind and easy to talk to and work with. He was fast and affordable. Best part is that when he learned my son (who's car he was working on) is serving in the Army he found a way to offer his support and a discount. Amazing! We will be taking all our vehicles to him. Paublo is an absolute stud! He's fixed my rig while I was broke down in a parking lot late into the night and got Me up and running so I didn't miss work.

So this guy Paublo is great. His correspondence is amazing in comparison to any other mechanic I have ever used . His pricing is right on and he is gonna get your car fixed. And you want someone with a great attitude and you want some honesty out of the guy that is gonna charge you to repair your vehicle. Then this is your guy. He did everything he said he would and in the time frame he said he could. I would use him again. And I wouldn't think twice if I was asked if I knew of a good honest reliable mechanic. During a road trip far from home (Denver to Portland),
I found myself with a broken Dodge Challenger on a hot Sunday afternoon.
Dexterous automotive answered the call for help on a weekend when other mechanics didn't even bother returning messages I left for them.

I'm very fortunate that things worked out this way.
Dexterous did an outstanding, and thorough job isolating a
difficult problem and fixing it on short notice.
It could have easily been a situation that cost me a lot more time and money, but their methodical and logical process saved the day. They even identified and resolved an additional trouble I was not previously aware of. This gave me the ability and confidence to finish the +700 miles left in the road trip without further incident.

If I happen to be in town again, I would take all my vehicles to Dexterous for maintenance needs.

5-star for professionalism, availability and friendliness! We are very thankful to Pablo, the owner of Dexterous, for being available to us for service on a Sunday when everyone else was closed. Just passing through town and unfamiliar with the area, our transmission leak issue could have resulted in an overnight stay. While it ended up being a fairly easy issue to deal with, we want to say thank you to Pablo, who waited 2 hours for us to arrive in town due to a flat tire, and again at the shop for over 1/2 hour while we missed our exit! Thank you!!

Absolutely recommend!!! Was stuck in utah with car issues. Called 17 other places before we got to these sweet angels. Such a pleaser to work with, he stayed late to make sure we could get on the road! honestly 11 out of 10. Don’t waste your time calling anyone else!!

They were extremely helpful when a part on my truck broke and were able to get it in and fixed quickly (on a Saturday no less) so I could head home. The price was very reasonable and they did a wonderful job.

Did a full inspection for us on a Silverado, they did an excellent job, would definitely recommend.
