Dohrn Transfer Company

Truck Drivers get pushed to the limits by the companies they drive for leaving drivers with no time to roll up landing gear all the way up or so exhausted safety issues get overlooked.

Regardless of other reviews, I very much appreciate what was done to remedy the complication with the scheduled pickup I had ordered through uShip. You guys really came through for me yesterday

Reliable service

They used to at least pretend to care about their employees but not so much in the past few years. Just another body in the seat now and they don't even try to hide that fact!

We had to call to get them to give us a delivery date to start after our shipment was already been sitting at their warehouse. So then they give us a 4 hour window for a few days later. When the delivery never showed on their picked date we call them to find out that their driver didnt feel like finishing his route. Not to mention my wife was stuck at the house all day waiting on a delivery that never showed since this one had to be signed for. So then they schedule for the next day with same 4 hour window and once again did not show. So we called again and they said the driver was in route. Which actually meant he was still a few hours away. They missed there own window again by a few hours. We will be sure to not use this delivery company again.

Very poor company to deal with. The load took twice the advertised time in transit, and when it finally arrived, product was missing. We filed a claim, but they took no responsibility for the missing items. During the same month I shipped a small skid of 3500 pieces weighing 400 lb. One of their clerks wrote down 3500 lb and they are trying to bill me for that. Still not resolved. I will avoid Dohrn in the future.

An organization apparently not concerned with exceeding a customer's expectations, much less meeting them. Too many excuses for why they miss appointments and then leave the customer to re-schedule, without offering up an alternative that works for the customer. Their one and only saving grace is Richard, a driver of theirs who will make the delivery only after his company has completely fouled everything else up - even if the delivery is before 4AM (yes, that is in the morning) - and he did it with nary a grunt or groan, and even managed to smile. Except for meeting Richard, our experience with Dohrn was horrible. Is it possible to rate with zero stars?? We do NOT recommend this company to anyone.

What in the world...! I have never been so frustrated in my life! Completely unorganized, totally unprofessional, wholly unreliable. And they don't care that you're dissatisfied with the service.
I'm having chest pain still trying to get my next day delivery - delivered 4 days later.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP ANYTHING!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Received light fixtures from them that looked like they had been run over, raised to take them and filed a claim immediately, after 2 months of me repeatedly asking for updates and almost never getting a reply I was denied a claim, absolutely worthless claims department.
