Tope La Restaurant

The best meal we have had travelling south and we’ve tried a lot of places. This is truly a restaurant that does everything right. The service was great. We highly recommend.

First visit here. We had the Red Bean Queso! Fantastic! Dipped our bread with it too! My husband had the Crabmeat Stuffed Redfish, and I had the Steak Smoked Gouda Alfredo. Both were perfectly seasoned and delicious! The steak... PERFECT!We will definitely be back! The service was excellent!

We want to thank you for providing such a lovely venue for our Christmas party. The food was delicious and everyone was able to bring home plenty. The décor was beautiful and really added to our night. As Office Manager, I was interacting with the staff often. They were very professional and accommodating. We were impressed all around and wouldn’t have changed one thing. Thank you for all your assistance with our successful Christmas party!

The food was 20 out of 10. This is a great place for a beautiful brunch experience. The Bloody Mary's were perfectly balanced. The martinis were the right amount of dirty. The portions were huge and extremely delicious. This is a great place to visit and enjoy the food and service

Had an amazing brunch for my Uncles 65th Birthday. Everyone had a great time and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to dine at TopeLa again. If you haven’t dined at TopeLa…..What are you waiting for?

Chef was on point tonight with the classics, special Valentine menu looked great but didn’t get there in time to enjoy, they ran out of some of the fish that I wanted, but no worries I had my go to dish: Tornedos Bayou La Fourche and she had the the Shrimp and Artichoke stack, our usual order. Drinks were great too, Cupids Arrow was like drinking a chocolate covered strawberry and the wedding cake was “the bomb” according to her! Great place to have a date night!

The food was a little on the bland side, but im Cajun so my taste buds are burned with pepper, so do not hold my opinion of "blandness ", in to high a light. The steak was cooked perfectly and the service was quick, attentive and cordial, and the appetizer was brought out pretty fast, as was the main meal. Best crab cake(appetizer) I've ever eaten. Went for Valentine's day and it was amazing. The employees are all so wonderful and the food was amazing! Tried creme brulee for the first time and it did not disappoint.

Always a treat. Great drinks and even better food. The appetizer sampler is worth it and a lot of food. Great French 75s. Everything we have ordered from here has been delicious. Crab cakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s my favorite place on the north shore.

The black drum was delicious. Only negative is it lacked color on the plate, but that would be extremely knit picking. Staff was friendly and pleasant, fast and efficient. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back to try more.

Stopped by for Italian "night" for lunch. The food was great, and the drinks were even better! You HAVE to save room for dessert and have a slice of the bread pudding 😍

We ate brunch there an ordered “Hot Mess”
It was very good. Combination of eggs, teriyaki rice, and a mixture of cooked vegetables. Cooked and served in hot cast iron skillet

Sampler platter was delicious. Not too spicy. Pork cracklins were fresh out of the grease with the perfect amount of seasoning. Overall great dining experience. Great low lighting would make for a great romantic date spot.

The best restaurant I know of. Great service, great atmosphere, good prices and the food is amazing. The menu is completely unique. Try Tope La, you will love it.

The picture is from the crab and avocado salad, was so delicious i will be dreaming of it until i come back to this great restaurant. Everything was delicious. Had the blackened alligator and eggplant appetizer. Will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere and food. Quiet when we went nice for the little get-together with sons fiancée for lunch. Service was good, friendly, and prompt. Portions are a good size.

I need to find a woman who's interested in me. So I can try them appetizers. Good is delish here. If only I knew where women were in this state.
