This was the first time here and I really loved it!! Me and my great friend and my grandbaby went after the zoo and it was very clean and lots to play and wish I could have brought the doggy he would have loved it!! The only thing I didn't like was that you have to go though so much because there redoing the golf coarse because the zoo bought 9 holes and there expanding and it's alil vrappy going though that but other then that it's a nice place!!!

Lovely though out-of-the-way park near the Baton Rouge Zoo featuring a playground, picnic pavilions, boat dock, cafe and shop, hiking trail, and lake. Many eating birds such as cormorants and great blue heron can be seen regularly around the lake. The short handicap-accessible hiking trail winds around the pretty lake along the woods. A large playground for children and exercise station for adults have views of the lake.

This park was great! The school that I teach at went here to eat lunch after going to the zoo. The large pavilion by the lake was an awesome spot to feel the breeze while eating. The students were also well entertained by the playground. It had a lot of different types of whirly gigs, swings and other interesting types of exercise bars and nets. The boardwalk around the lake looked nice although I didn't go on it. It was well tended and was very enjoyable to be at.

Its a nice park but it’s always a kid on a black and white bike just minding his business 😂

Beautiful park. Just missing a botanical Garden. Has everything for family fun fishing. Dog park so much more. I just wished it did have a Botanical Garden because it's so much space

I play the disc golf course here. It's a fantastic little technical course and not really as populated as most others so its quiet and relaxing. But overall the whole park is maintained and just generally what you expect out of park. I've been coming here for years and it is definitely an underrated park for all that it offers and it is right behind the Baton Rouge Zoo so you can make a day out of just one area. 5 stars, highly recommended.

Beautiful park! We brought our canoe and launched off the dock. They have a really nice picnic area, playground for the kids, and a hiking trail that circles the lake. We saw lots of people fishing as well.

The Pickleball courts and the clubhouse are among the very best you can find anywhere along the Gulf Coast.

Great place to play pickleball. They’ve done a great job converting the tennis courts to pickleball courts and building the group of players.
