Forget Me Not Flower Shop

A friend of mine recently purchased a new home in the area, so when I went to visit I wanted to bring her some beautiful flowers to go along with her housewarming gift.
I looked up florists in the area and found forget me not flowers.
When I walked in they were very friendly and eager to assist. I told them the occasion and what colors my friend likes.
When I saw the finished product I was so in love! My friend and her husband (who never cares about flowers) also could not stop raving about how incredibly gorgeous this bouquet was!
Not only did they just gain me as a customer, my friend who lives close by, will be stopping in for flowers as well!
You absolutely need to check out this beautiful flower shop.

I love getting my wife fresh flowers and actually, having them around the house definitely lightens my mood as well! So I was in the area and wanted to pick up a bouquet for her. I stopped in to the Forget Me Not Flower Shop and here’s how it went!

Atmosphere/Appearance: This place resembles a large house, but does boast a private parking lot. That’s always a plus. Once inside you’re immediately hit in the face by all of the fresh, sweet aromas that flowers produce. I mean, I wouldn’t want to smell anything else in a flower shop! 😂 This place is pretty damn big too! Off to the left is like a display room with so many colorful plants. Then as you walk through you see candles, chocolates and other goodies that are all from other local businesses! This is what “a rising tide lifts all boats” means! Support local whenever you can!

Service: There was an AWESOME lady there helping us out! I can’t remember her name, but maybe it was Cindy? Sydney? I feel like it was something like that. Regardless, she was SUPER HELPFUL! I saw this like, plant in a glass vase that was kinda cut off so I starting asking questions about it. She SCHOOLED ME! She gave me the low-down on how to preserve it through the winter and how to plant it once spring comes! So we shall see! I also met the new owner, Lindsey! She was super cool, down-to-Earth and just someone I’m happy to see take over this spot!

Product: I picked up a fresh-flower bouquet put together by the lady I mentioned above. She threw roses and all kinds of stuff in there. Needless to say, my wife LOVED IT! I also bought that flower bulb thing. 😂 We’ll see if it blooms in the spring. I also picked up some local goodies from Fascia’s Chocolates that were AMAZING! Apparently they’ve been making these since 1964! The peanut butter cups were so creamy and AMAZING! Poops all over Reese’s for sure! Lol. I also had the chocolate-dipped Oreos. Those were good, but not as good as the peanut butter cups. But aye, this place is awesome!

Value: I mean… flowers are never cheap. Don’t walk up in here disrespecting Lindsey and her team! Come with the cheese and you’ll get what you need!

In conclusion, I loved this place and I’d continue to support this place if I lived closer, but if I am ever in the area again and need some fresh flowers, I’m coming here!

Sharon at Forget Me Not Flower Shop is the absolute BEST!!!! I came to her not knowing what I would like for my wedding and she helped me every step of the way. She was able to read me and know my personality within the limited time spent with her and she created absolutely beautiful arrangement plans that fit the vision I didn't even know I originally had!!! The arrangements were stunning. She is so sweet and easy to talk to. I cannot recommend Sharon at Forget Me Not more. You will not regret it!

We truly can’t thank Sharon enough for everything she did for us the past two years wedding planning and on our big day! She helped us with the floral part of our planning process with ease - she is super efficient and organized. She helped piece all of my ideas together, knew exactly what we were looking for and executed it perfectly for our wedding day! My husband and I absolutely LOVED the bouquets, centerpieces and all the floral and candle arrangements she put together - it all came out absolutely stunning! Florals were always an important piece of our wedding planning for me and Sharon brought all of our wedding visions and dreams to life! Received the most beautiful bouquet from Forget Me Not for Valentines day, over a week later and it still looks just as beautiful as the day I got it! Expertise at this florist is second to none!

Love love this shop! I dropped in (first timer) to grab a quick floral arrangement for a friend. I left with a beautiful bouquet, thanks to Shaina! Laura, the manager, was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, great experience and I will be back soon for more arrangements! Highly recommend! 🌸

My fiancé and I just had our consultation for our up coming wedding and had such an amazing experience! Lindsey and Anita were absolutely fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. It is very evident that they both come with a multitude of experience. They made a potential stressful part of a wedding, very seamless and comfortable. Forget Me Not really went above and beyond for our 12/18/21. Krista was very responsive and excellent to communicate with. They were able to get my favorite flower in stock during the covid and floral shortages. They decorated our cake which looked absolutely stunning with just enough flowers to give it some glam without going overboard, I shared inspiration pictures of different arch ideas and they were able to bring it to life, they decorated the stairs with greens and candles for an extra wintery look, my bridesmaids and I were gushing over our flower bouquets. Forget Me Not was able to position the two photo charms of my grandparents on my bouquet which really meant a lot to me. They helped with centerpieces to help give our tables some more winter ambience too. They are an amazing local shop with a great long lasting reputation. Highly recommend!

I used Forget Me Not Flower Shop for my wedding on 9/10/22 and they were wonderful! Sharon was so friendly and easy to work with. The arch, bouquets, and boutonnieres were all beautiful (and exactly what I asked for!) I would highly recommend them to other brides who are looking for a wedding florist!!!

Amazing job at the wedding I officiated. The flowers were gorgeous and the nautical theme was beautifully carried out throughout the event. The designer was meticulous on how the floral arrangement was set in front of the bride and groom and here efforts were remarkable!

I booked with FMN for my wedding because the consultation alone was better than any other shop I’ve been to (and there were many). Sharon worked with my budget and created the most beautiful centerpiece samples!

Went in for a bouquet for Valentine's Day. They were busy, but so helpful. The lady working did a very good job on my bouquet. These ladies are artist.

I highly recommend them, we needed flower arrangements for my mom's funeral and they went above and beyond to get the arrangements we asked for and they delivered same day! It was only couple of hours notice and they delivered by the promised time.

Absolutely the best florist in CT. I live out of state and always use this florist. Well we had a slight mix up, nothing major and before I could talk to anyone they sent a new plant and didn’t even swap out the mistake they left that too. Also they delivered on a Sunday. Again the best I’d give 10 stars if I could.

My husband and I were married in CT this May (micro-wedding style). We're not from the area but Forget Me Not made it super easy to make an appointment to go over our floral arrangements. Krista really took her time with us to understand what we were looking for and answered all of our questions. She was SUPER helpful and not pushy at all, which we really appreciated! She was extremely responsive and ended up created exactly what what we wanted. I'm so happy we went with Forget Me Not! I'd definitely recommend them for any weddings! I ordered flowers after losing my Aunt and the spray was absolutely beautiful!!! The women who took my order (unfortunately I did not get her name) was so sweet. I’ll definitely order there again.
