Schnarr's Hardware

Like most of the small, family owned, neighborhood hardware stores, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they'll have or can get some items you can't find anywhere else. We were doing a job that required four small railing post bases. We had tried the big box hardware stores, but they didn't stock these anymore. Schnarr's didn't have them in stock, but they found a source and got what we needed in just a few days.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They pack a lot into a small space. Much nicer environment than big box stores. Tricky vehicle egress at rush hour but doable.

Nice neighborhood hardware store. They have anything and everything you need for self home repairs. One of my favorites!! Actually just pulled up now to look at their yeti mug collection.

If you don't mind paying a little extra for actual customer service and advice (I don't), shopping at Schnarrs is convenient, fast, and has always had exactly what I needed. Anyone who is tired of walking miles through parking lots and aisles of mysterious items you'll never need, and employees who might be able to tell you where to look, but can't really help with advice on a project, Schnarrs is for you.

I went to Home Depot first and got so frustrated because the place was so unorganized and staff was so uneducated on what I needed, they told me to go to Schnarr's. I walked in, one of the staff greeted me and I explained my issue. Less than 5 minutes later at a cost of $4.65 my issue was fixed. If you have a issue go here, shop locally owned businesses, they care what they do and how they do it. I should of just went here first!!!!

Always helpful and amazing how much stuff they can get into what seems little a smaller building. Never a wait to find help. Skip the big box store.

This place is great for picking up odds and ends that big box stores don't care to carry. I needed a small bag of portland cement and this is the only place.that carried that size of bag. Additionally, they have an aging bbq section with pellet grills (and pellets) green egg, weber, and accessories. The accessories available here is impressive compared with any big box store. Best price on weber pellets.

I recently received excellent customer service in resolving a home repair problem. The solution required some 'cobbling' together of multiple parts, and the employee took the time to ensure that my needs were met. The problem is now resolved. I now consider Schnarr's to be a first stop for such matters.

Great little neighborhood hardware store which fortunately hasn't fallen to the larger more impersonal places. They pack an amazingly large inventory into their relatively small store space and their staff are always pleasant and know their product line well. Good to know a place like this can survive.

Great place for quick hardware close and easy. I'm not going here to start a huge project, but I'm going here to grab the things I forgot to get once I start the huge project and need to get something quick and easy. I'm also going here for little fixes on the house. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. You will have someone to talk to right when you walk in the door to give you advice and help you find what you are looking for.

Schnarr's hardware often offers a unique experience that, I think, can't be duplicated by any other store. Two days ago I discovered a problem with my husband's desk drawer knob -- the knob would not screw into the drawer. I brought the offending knob to Schnarr's. The employee who helped me figured out that the screw I had was the wrong cut for the knob.
Now this was something that very few people would understand, myself included. He found the right "cut" and it works beautifully. What can I say. This is just one of the small, but very important, answers I have found quickly at Schnarr's. I obviously love this store.

Love the store. Knowledgeable sales team. Easy access. A really nice good 'ole fashion hardware store. So much nicer than the monster stores!

They had exactly the part I needed. They explained how to install it, too. MUCH better help than the big stores, and I didn't have to walk a mile trying to find what I wanted. Just ask, and they take you right to it and tell you anything you need to know.

Awesome local place with great customer service. They've got just about everything you need for fixing something around the house, packaging, grills, and even lock re-keying.
