This is a good BBQ place with plenty of other options. The Chicken Casserole was very tasty as-was the fried corn nuggets. I tried the Loaded Q-Dog which is a red (think Bright Leaf) hot dog in a nice sized sub roll with an overwhelming amount of Lexington style BBQ pulled pork and red slaw. It is served with a cup of Lexington style BBQ dip which is a tomato and vinegar sauce that flows freely and has a bi of heat and spices. Fried squash was a little soggy and under-cooked on the inside in my opinion. I'd suggest a faster hotter fryer for more crispy outside and less oil absorbed. Overall a nice place with really nice attentive staff. Location is about 10 miles from Downtown Lexington. I'd love to come back and check out more of the daily specials that include BBQ chicken, meatloaf, and steak.

Great local BBQ place. I love their sauce, its just the right blend of spicy, vinegar and smokey flavors. The fried okra was excellent and the service was outstanding!

We were here a year ago while we were camping at Forest Lake and really enjoyed the BBQ. Now we're back again, and the BBQ is still just as delicious. The smoke coming out of the smoker smelled so good! The service here is friendly and fast and the food is priced right. I got a small chopped tray with red slaw. It was nice and smoky, and oh, so good. And the hushpuppies are addictive. Hubs got a chili cheeseburger and a small chopped tray. He loved it because he pretty much inhaled it! Servings are very generous. Thanks for a great meal and service.

What was already a favorite BBQ place to stop while passing through, it is now a favorite breakfast place. Homemade buttermilk biscuits too!

Just a perfect down home BBQ joint. The called me 'sweet heart', quick service and excellent food! Will be back.

Try to get over any Thursday since they only make it T-Saturday. Great staff. Travel 38 mis. one way...but to us, way worth it 👌 ✨.

Im partial to Memphis BBQ but damn this was great! Hush puppies and the best Sweet Tater pie ive had since my great grandmother made it for family gatherings.

This is a country family atmosphere, not a uptown restaurant. Awsome staff and food that doesn't break the bank. Love this place.

Love this place get take out several days every week. Short drive, pull up take out window . Great food, friendly staff, fast service & very affordable. Menu with lots of variety/choices, always big portions and cost same/sometimes less than a fast food restaurant. Not ever got anything that wasn't delicious and satisfying.

Excellent food and service. If I had to change one thing, it would be not waiting in line to pay the bill.

The proportions were absolutely great and the flavors just blended together and they are very reasonably priced.

Great food and great service! We were greeted right away. We had the onion rings to start, and between the three of us we had a cheeseburger, a chopped sandwich, a chopped plate, and fries. I recommend getting the bbq slaw on the sandwich or as a side to the chopped plate. Sweet tea was good too.

Just a cute snack shop type restaurant with outstanding BBQ and a very pleasant staff. The BBQ pork sandwich was overflowing with delicious pork. This is an obvious local favorite! Our waitress, Sidney, was adorable!

Best breakfast in North or South Carolina..did l mention their Barbarcue its also the best in town.....

Food good. Staff very attentive. Nice small diner atmosphere. Have to get a cookie at the counter before leaving. 🍪 also my dogs love hush puppies. Hmmm
