Bovina Cafe

I came for lunch and immediately was greeted and waited on. The vibe in this cafe is great! It’s very welcoming and the food is fresh cooked, hot and made to order. My mom got the chicken and dumplings, and my Dad got the vegetable plate. We all cleaned our plates!! I got the BLT on wheat bread toasted and it was so tasty. They are generous with the bacon. The lettuce and tomato was fresh. I absolutely recommend having breakfast or lunch here. This was my first time but definitely not my last. I’d absolutely drive here again to eat. It has that safe haven feeling that home has. It’s really nice.

The value of their lunch plate is fantastic! You get a meat and three sides with a drink and dessert for like 13$. You can’t beat it! Iv had most everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Great atmosphere as well.

Food was absolutely great, staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are very good and the amount of food will keep you coming back for more.

The staff was very accommodating with our crew of nine. The homemade food was amazing! My grandson said two ham and cheese sandwiches cuz they were so good. Love the homemade cheesecake!

Bovina Cafe is a hidden gem right off the interstate easy to get in and out. Would truly recommend a stop here. This meat and three also has homemade desserts and also hot sandwiches to order. Clean place, and a nice staff, and the food was fantastic. Meatloaf 5 stars. Go for a visit price is good too. You can have a drink, dessert, meat and 3 sides all for 12 bucks!!! What a deal.

So difficult to eat healthy on the road! Hearty and simple Southern food prepared and served in a no-nonsense way. The sides were especially delicious—from the sweet potatoes to the mustard greens to the black-eyed peas. So worth it!

The food here is wonderful and it's a very good deal...the plates are priced very fairly because you get to pick your main course, two sides, corn bread or a roll, a salad, a drink and a dessert, all for only $9.00! If you've never stopped in this little cafe off of the Bovina exit just inside of the Warren County line, then be sure to make a point to do so. It will be well worth it. You'll be more than satisfied and eager to return. Note, the hours are from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Saturday and I believe they're going to start serving supper on Friday evenings now.

If you are looking for a place with mama's cooking then Bovina Cafe is the spot to choose. Serving breakfast and lunch from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The price for breakfast is five dollars and lunch is twelve dollars, but be prepared to bring cash or check because they don't accept debit or credit cards. The quantity of food is crazy compared to the price. Breakfast includes two eggs, one meat, grits, a biscuit or toast, and a drink, and the best thing about it is all that food for $5! I enjoyed the environment and the employees that work there are excellent. If you're near the area I would highly recommend this little spot right off the Bovina exit net Vicksburg.

When I first entered I was sceptical, it was definitely stepping back in time. It was mid morning and missed breakfast so I was disappointed they had no coffee at all after breakfast..food was buffet style where staff dished it up for you...Place was packed with what looked to be locals. Staff was friendly ended up grabbing some philly cheese steak fries to go and Omg they were delicious! Would definitely stop in again hopefully in the am so I could try the grits.

I had the opportunity to stop at the Bovina Cafe on my way through Mississippi recently. I had the barbecue chicken with lima beans and greens and baked beans and a phenomenal chocolate cake and fresh coffee as well. Just an unbelievable high quality offering with perfect service and an authentic Old Time Cafe atmosphere because it really is an Old Time Cafe. You should always plan to stop here and even go well out of your way if necessary.

Don’t drive by and miss this place. Blue plate lunch is a great value and everything was homemade. Loved the chicken and dumplings and creamed corn. Staff very nice and polite.

Today was meatloaf day. The best meatloaf ever. Had squash, collard greens, lima beans, cornbread, sweet tea, garden salad and coconut cake. All included for only 12 dollars. Must visit, especially Thursday's catfish day.

This place is always a great eating experience! I go for breakfast and lunch. The servings are large and the price is good. The lunches changes daily. If you go bring a big appetite and cash.

If delicious Southern home cooking and friendly folks are what you're looking for, Bovina Cafe can't be beat! The reasonable prices are a bonus! We love it!

BEST FOOD IN TOWN...I LOVE THE STAFF..THEY TREAT EVERYONE LIKE FAMILY. .PLENTY OF VEGETABLES. .CHOOSING OF THREE DIFFERENT MEATS..LIKE A MINI BUFFET. .I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE...

Walked in near end of day. Owner was just like a grandmother. Treated me like one of her own. The food was excellent and priced just right.

Best blue plate lunch around, but come hungry! Breakfast is a real steal. I wish it were open on weekends so I could go more.
