This is a lovely, peaceful, and beautiful park just far enough from surrounding cities to feel secluded but not too far to be inconvenient.

Quiet, quaint, easy access to water for kayaks and canoes. Nice trails an shelter for picnics.

We stopped here on our way to New Glarus from Kenosha. The creek was so beautiful and clean. On a whim I stripped down, put on my bathing suit and snorkel. Wow was it nice. So clear and clean, warm, a gentle flowing current that felt like a warm breeze. It was 9am so no one was around. I got out of the water because I was 1. Afraid of snakes and 2. I was afraid I might be doing something illegal. I think I will remember this little moment forever.

Awesome park for a picnic but a perfect spot to launch or take out a kayak. Nice playground, picnic shelter and the port a john was clean. I am so thankful for the people that put this place together.

Had to do a double take when I saw the sign, as I often travel to Spooner Wisconsin, which is about 340 or so miles away from this place. Canoe launch on Turtle Creek
