Every time I have called, they are extremely helpful and so nice and polite. They are very knowledgeable about their products, and the animals. I'm a new-ish duck and chicken mom, so I'm not always sure about some things, and they didn't seem to mind helping me at all and answering all my questions. Prices are cheaper than anywhere I've been before. The gentleman that was in there today, the dad ☺, was extremely helpful and even took the bags of feed to the car for me. I will be going here for all my feed from now on. I highly recommend this feed store. Great job S and L! Y'all are awesome!! Thank y'all very much!

Edit: the people that own and run this business have customer service down to a T. I've never felt more appreciated shopping before. They are so fast to get you in and out. They don't want to make a fortune, just help the community to have access to good quality feed for the animals. They always carry whatever you buy to your car for you, even after arguing with them and telling them I will get it.😆 I can't even begin to describe how wonderful this feed store is, and what a great asset to lexington nc they are. They have even stayed a couple minutes after closing time for me so I could get 1 bag of feed for my chickens, ducks, goose and turkey. I absolutely love this place and cannot tell you how wonderful they are. They are just so nice and accommodating, you won't find amazing people, out of this world customer service, great prices, and good quality feed anywhere else in this town, county, state, country or world. 😁 I would give them 20 stars if possible. They truly deserve it.

I use to buy my livestock feed at one of the big chain stores until recently the manager told me he didn't really care if he had my feed in stock or not and if customers were unhappy about that he didn't much care because " customers p*ssed him off"! I started dealing with S&L Feed and am so glad I found them! Customer service is outstanding whether you buy one bag or 50. They carry feeds from family own mills, one of which is locally owned and sourced. I like knowing I am supporting local small business and family farms in my community. Quality is good and consistamt without paying ridiculously high prices. An added bonus is that the owners use and understand the feeds and products they sell. It's refreshing to be able to ask a question and get informed helpful answers! Go see the the folks at S&L, they'll take great care of you!

This is the best feed store! We drive 30 minutes just to get our feed from them. They are the nicest and prices are great for good quality food.

Such a nice man and his son. Have what we need with GOOD grain. My chickens eat better and are now laying and the goats love the feed.
