This review is for the IMAGING department NOT apart of the emergency room. I think people are mixing these reviews up between the departments.
I was seen at CFV Hoke Imaging today. The staff in this office (MRI) are excellent. I was treated with care the moment I walked thru the door.
John at the desk was very polite, respectful, and was adamant on keeping my personal information confidential.
Sarah (tech) was very nice and caring. She is very good at patient interaction and does her job efficiently.
Janice (tech) is very thorough and efficient at her job. She is excellent in explaining info, and answering patient questions. She shows compassion and concern for her patients.
Kudos to these staff members and thank you all for what you do!

I was shocked to see such a low rating. I'm new to the area and was assigned to this office with Dr. Hamal. I made my initial appointment online which was an easy process and I was able to schedule it within a week. When I checked in the receptionist Jessica was very nice. I was called back in a timely manner (which was a first for me. Most doctor visits I have to wait past the appointment time. ) the nurse Rose took my vitals and she was so sweet. Dr. Hamal then came in and did the exam and she was very thorough. I then got labs done and the technician was great. Everyone was helpful. My test results were available within a few hours. Everything was very fast. The office was clean and smelled very good as well.

I want to thank all of the professionals that were so helpful to me recently at my emergency room visit. Everyone was wonderful which is very nice when you're a scaredy cat like me. A special shout out to Alyandra, she was so warm and helpful, and made my experience all the better.

Everyone is friendly and helpful at Cape Fear Hoke! When I say EVERYONE! I MEAN EVERYONE!
The security officer and the front desk staff helped my disabled grandmother from the car into the building. She did not have to wait in the lobby for hours. The ER staff QUICKLY rolled her back into triage. Nurse Raphael, the PA, Radiology, the intake personnel, &
the phlebotomist attended to her medical needs and made her feel comfortable and at home. Thank you, for caring for my grandmother, C. Evans this morning! 😍

The receptionist was very helpful and went out of their way to help me with my doctor ordered tests and even helping me with the new technology used to sign in. The X-ray technician was so understanding of my pain, very helpful and compassionate throughout my entire procedure. The phlebotomist was so kind and gentle through out the entire procedure, too. Cape Fear Valley Hoke Healthcare has professional, caring professionals. Thank you for a good medical experience today. God bless you every one.

From beginning to end, my first experience here was great! Initially afraid to come here due to similar name of another hospital.
The staff was caring and friendly. Special thank you to Amy, Luis, and the nurse who placed the IVC 1 stick and on someone who doesnt "trust"/like nursees and needles! (Im sorry i didnt catch your name). Can't forget the security for being helpful, professional, and informative. Last but not least, the young lady helping us with insurance/discharge.(apologies for not catching your names!)
I hope you guys get to see this or its mentioned to you. You guys have a hard job. You are appreciated even for the minor things.
Our total time there was 3hrs, which is great for an ER!
Thank you for what you do!

I was seen in the ER on March 18,2019,I felt horrible and was running a temp.
The staff was outstanding with the way they took care of me.
I had went back to the ER the next night (Dr.'s orders) and as soon as I got a room, the same PA who I saw the night before ,admitted me.
My hospital stay was great. The Dr's and nursing staff were awesome! I myself work in the medical field, so I understood if I had to wait, which was hardly ever.
Not everyone can be pleased, but in my opinion-and my experience...this is by far much better than the Owen Dr. hospital.

This was a great hospital. My daughter lives locally and was admitted so I had to travel from Fayetteville, GA to see her. She’s only 19. Everyone I encountered was polite, informative and showed genuine concern. The doctors and nurses took such good care of her. She didn’t go without anything she needed, always had ice in her pitcher, wrapped her iv’s when she needed to shower, and even had someone come talk to her when she was upset. They called their specialist in for iv because she’s a hard one to get blood from. One of the nurses recommended a very nice hotel that was close so we could stay longer and be close to the hospital. We even started going to the cafeteria there because it was the best food we’d had on the whole trip. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my baby girl to be. They treated her well and were concerned for her well being even knowing she is uninsured. If I am ever in need of a hospital while in that area, I’d choose them. My daughter felt the same. She said I hate hospitals but they saved my life and made this ordeal bearable and I’ll definitely go there if I get sick again. Thank You Capefear Valley.

The doctors, nurses and staff at this hospital are amazing! Thank you Doctor Tim Smith, nurse Helen and several others for stabilizing and saving my son's life! My son is 13 years old and came in almost non-responsive due to the flu! HE had went to another hospital the day before and it was not diagnosed but thanks to Dr. Tim Smith who did everything in his power to find out what was going on with my son! Dr Tim Smith is a skilled Doctor that was very determined to find out his prognosis! The nurses we're working very hard and from the moment we came through the door everyone was making sure that he was getting the care he needed with the effectiveness, speed, and accuracy for his emergency. They transported him to Cape Fear hospital to be hospitalized where he also received excellent care! I appreciate all that you have done and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! My son is much better now and recovering at home!❤ You deserve more than five stars!👏

I am giving this hospital 5 stars. I first went to Cape Fear Valley and left after waiting 6 hours without being seen. I was septic with an open wound and Cape Fear Valley on Owen Drive left me out in the waiting room. When I got to Hoke Pavilion I was greeted by Brittany in the Guest Services. she was very helpful and took me straight back to the nurse. My ER nurse was ALICE. She was great. Very professional and helpful. I was admitted to the hospital and my doctor was Dr. Audu. He did a great job. Very knowledgeable of my symptoms and was concerned about what was going on with me. I would like to Thank my nurses Inhui, Linda and April. They were the 2nd floor nurses that I attended to me. They were all GREAT! I could not have asked for better service than what these girls gave me. Thank You all for taking care of me the 3 days I was in the hospital. I would recommend this hospital over any here in Cumberland County.

Feb 2020 my 5 yr old son was lethargic, laying around, eyes sunk... I quickly took his temp and it displayed normal which I knew wasn't correct. I gave him motrin and jumped in the car to head to the emergency room.. I get to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital - Hoke, and it was super crowded... so I asked the nurse at the front,  "Ma'am I know its crowded but please can you just check his temp..." she blank-faced said, no, just to sign in and wait... I carried my heavy son out of there and drove to Cape Fear Valley Health Pavilion Hoke emergency room and asked the front desk nurse the same thing, she promptly took his temp and it was 104. something.. (mind you I gave him motrin) she immediately helped in cooling him down..checked in in no time. I thank God for that nurse!!

Fast forward today, I had 2 appointments here at Cape Fear Valley Hoke Pavillion and I mean just superb customer service. Ms. Sharon took the initiative through and through.. multi-tasked my appointments ensuring limited wait time possible.. from the Mammogram tech(I forgot her name) to the ppl walking around in what looks like an EMT uniform,  Mr. Hernandez I think was his name.. You all are warm, welcoming, wonderful professionals and I appreciate you!

Exceptional service and attention. Came here with debilitating abdominal pain and was seen promptly and professionally. Am being transferred to a larger facility for surgery but I have only the best things to say about Dave the PA, Vanessa the RN, and Dr Reed. Recommended.

The ER treated me amazing. Three days after a visit to the UC in Womack, I was getting worse. Came here and they addressed my pain and other symptoms. They showed me that they cared, something you don’t get in other facilities. Also super friendly and diverse staff.

Twice I had to go to urgent care. There were no wait times longer than 5 minutes. The doctors, staff, and security were refreshingly polite and treated my family as they were people and not just something you would push through an assembly line. They are simply AMAZING!
