Captain Jerry's Seafood

The best seafood in Fayetteville and it's not even close! Great atmosphere. Very calm and relaxing. Bring at least $20.

This is a classic calabash seafood restaurant. I've had the fried shrimp take out it's worth what you pay. And there's enough for two meals. An update since the pandemic. They are only serving to go orders but doing a good job. You can walk up an order or call by phone. When you arrive let them know you are there. My large popcorn shrimp was enough for two meals for me. They are closed on Monday.

Captain Jerry’s seafood restaurant has been a favorite for many years. Unfortunately, they have not fully recovered after Covid. We were able to dine-in as part of a large group. They have been unable to get sufficient staff, so except for large parties, serve only take-out

I decided to eat fish from Captain Jerry's and sit by the lake. Fried okra is a must and hush puppies could never do you wrong.

Attended a family memorial in Fayetteville today and the luncheon was held at Captain Jerry’s. We had baked salmon which was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Potatoes and veggies were tasty, and hush puppies were deliciously prepared. We had excellent service in a clean and welcoming environment. Even met Jerry after the meal. Definitely recommend trying this place if you haven’t or are new to the area!

Omg! Hot fresh Calabash style seafood plate and very friendly service!! It was delicious and enough for 2 meals. What more could you want?

We had not eaten here for many years but attended a family retirement party. The building had done a complete renovation which was badly needed. When you eat at a restaurant that serves seafood but does not smell like seafood that is good sign of cleanliness. The food and service were excellent! We plan to make regular visits in the near future.

We moved here from Va Beach and have been looking for a GOOD seafood restaurant...a friend at work told us about Captain Jerry's....OH MY GOODNESS!!! From the young man who took my order over the phone, to the young lady who rang up my order...very friendly and courteous! And the food....delish! We had broiled scallops, fried flounder and fried shrimp....felt like i was back home! Be sure and be hungry, because you will get plenty to eat of each portion!! Thank goodness we found a great place for EXCELLENT seafood!! See ya soon.

I did a call in order on Thursday 01/19/23 didn't know the dinning room was closed. I wasn't pleased with my order my hushpuppy and French fries were cold and over cooked. I hope you all serving fresh cooked food at all times that will keep the customers pleased.

We've lived here 4 years and I'm mad we didn't find it sooner - the food is EVERYTHING. Highly recommend the big box platter - the best seafood we've ever had in this city. VERY impressed and will 100% order from here again. Probably this week 😆

Great customer service and speedy food service

Came here with a large group of women. Our server, Romeo, did a FANTASTIC job, got all the orders right, was very attentive, answering all our questions, anticipating and just gave us wonderful service. The food was great and portions were ample. Would definitely return here.

The food is good. It's take-out only.

The food was delicious! I like that I saw mostly young people as servers here. How can they really learn if people won't hire them? The server made a mistake, and the head staff fixed it by not charging me for the food that was forgotten but brought later. I've eaten here abt 4 times now, the food is very good. And it's MORE than just SEAFOOD.

Kind and courteous, staff that knows their customers! When you order often random staff will greet you by name! It is a Loveable Downhome Atmosphere! For the Fayetteville area it is a reasonable price! The food is Excellent! Never over cooked, Never undercooked, it is perfection!
