Bargain Box

I've not been to Bargain Box in awhile & didn't realize they have moved to a new location. Still 109 towards Denton, now on the left. First impression pulling in was amazement. Big difference from before. I was greeted when I entered the building. It's very organized & clean. Great selection. It's a smaller version of a Harbour Freight or similar store. Very handicap accessible. Wide aisles & no obstructions in the way. Clean bathroom. Owner on site & approachable. Outside, there were 2 very helpful employees. Dakota & Tyler. They answered all of my questions & went with me to see the item & I had questions about. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend. The only quirk I would say is the choice of music in the store, not everyone may like gospel music.

Friendly folks, great prices -especially on slightly blemished construction materials. I have purchased many things here across the years. Their new building / store location is nice and clean.

I went for the first time to buy one window for our sunroom. The place was clean, organized, very well staffed and Alan in the window department could not have been more kind and helpful to me. After I purchased the window, when he was loading it into my car, he asked if I had inquired inside about the possibility of them having the missing crank handle part (which I knew was missing at the time of purchase). I admitted that I thought of that too, but didn't ask (assuming they wouldn't have them). He walked back to the main building for me and came out with one which he had to open to discover it was not threaded the same and would therefore not work, but I just really appreciated the extra length to help me with one $100 window. Kindness matters today more than ever.

Chris and the guys working are great! If they don't have what I need, they order it! I have had to remodel a rental twice within a year and what a blessing their prices, location and product has been, everything from flooring, paneling,sheet rock, paint,tub,sink, faucet,metal roofing and my list could go on. This is a great community business... you can get help loading but remember everyone treats each other like family so I never mind the wait as I am local and enjoy conversation.

Local spot that puts home depot and lowes on their toes. Lots of new products for home builders or hobbyists.

I find what I need when I need it. The parking is a bit rough sometimes, but that doesn't stop their business. Fairly reasonable prices. Locally owned and operated. What's not to love? forgot dogwood? Pop round the corner and get some. Leash. Tie out. Dishes. Chicken feed & scratch. Tools. Paint. Stain. Roofing.... Friendly help. Neighborhood hardware. Need something? Call... They'll get it for you.

For a family business, they do better than the big box stores. Yes its not fancy. We dont need fancy.. Its does good filling that niche where the regular people who fix their own problems go for a fair price.

This place is great. Have everything you need to work on your house or trailer. The guys help you find what you need quickly and the guys are hard workers help you load up. I will go here before I go anywhere else. Can't wait till they finish the new location.

I was turned into this place by a friend. This place seems to have a bit of everything! The prices are about half of the big home improvement stores. They also have used/slightly damaged items for a fraction of others. Just be advised, there's alot going on in a small area, so it seems like chaos, but I got out of there much quicker than I would have at a large store.

Great place for some bargains on building materials. if you don't live in Lexington / Thomasville it will still be worth your drive! The staff will also help you load your order. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The Bargain Box is a great place to shop for all your project needs. They have about anything that you would need. If they don't let them know they'll order it . And you can't beat their prices. If you find something cheaper elsewhere let them know they'll Beat It. They have everything you need for mobile homes but much more than that everything from tin roofing paint screws Nails Hardware plumbing showers tubs Lumber flooring Key Making doors windows lawn and garden supplies tools and so much more . Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful everything they have is cheaper than you can find anywhere else.
