ACA is an amazing school! This is our family’s second school year at ACA. We love that it is a smaller school and tight-knit. As another parent said, everyone is working together with the child’s best interest in mind. I also Love the willingness to improve and hear out the families input. I look forward to an another amazing school year and hope this review was helpful for those families deciding to enroll at ACA. Do it! 🙂

My daughter went to school here, for 1st grade last year and she really thrived! The Director, Teachers and Staff were all wonderful and really displayed genuine love and compassion for the all of the children at Achievement Charter Academy, which we really appreciated! I hated that we live too far for her attend this year because she really excelled and loved this school; therefore, I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to attend because every child is shown love, compassion and encouragement to grow and excel!
Thanks so much Achievement Charter Academy for all that you do for all of your students!

We love ACA! We’ve been enrolled since they opened, and honestly it feels like home. Don’t be turned off by their small size, that is one of our favorite things about the school. Everyone knows everyone, and it really has a family feel. One of the other things we love, and that differentiates them from a lot of schools, is that they truly value parent input. Education and learning at ACA feels like a partnership. Everyone is working together with the children’s best interest in mind...the WHOLE child, not just test scores and benchmarks. They are adaptive and offer a lot of hands on, life experience learning. Last but not least, they put a lot of emphasis on movement and value physical education. Their PE teacher is ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. The kids all love him, and he makes physical education engaging and FUN. Even on the most brutally hot NC day, he is right out their with them playing, forming relationships. It’s all about relationships, and making the children feel loved and heard! That’s where a true LOVE of learning and of their community begins.

My kids love ACA. They feel listened to and develop a close bond with their classmates. All the teachers really tap into what each child needs and helps them to grow and learn in their own unique way.

We are so excited to start ACA in the fall. My husband and I have been to a few of the meetings and are excited for the start of the school year. We think the small school atmosphere will be great for our rising kindergartener. We are also thrilled that they are going to be a peanut and treenut free school, since our daughter is allergic to both.

I am so exited for my child to start this year! We have been with Learningtime for over 15 years as they provided amazing childcare for my 3 children. They are certainly qualified, educated, kind and compassionate. Exactly the kind of educators I want for my child in this next phase of schooling.

Leaja and the school are wonderful! I’m familiar with the method of teaching that ACA is bringing to Fuquay and I’m so excited as this method allows for the natural growth of a child’s learning and facilitates a natural love of learning that I know many of my parent friends and I wish to see develop in our kids. I’m greatly looking forward to sending my kids back to this school come Fall.

I am beyond excited for this school open in our community! I love everything ACA stands for. More schools should focus on the individuals and who they are becoming, what they enjoy, as well as academics!

I am glad these folks came to Fuquay! ACA taught me about GCS (Glasser Quality Schools) and Choice Theory. I love the concept of self-directed learning, and viewing children not just as info sponges but partners in the education process. My kind of outlook on things. Excited to have my son start here in the Fall!

After almost a year with my children at ACA I am sadly changing my review. The school is disorganized, the staff is half good & half unprofessional. I feel like our year at ACA has hindered my sons learning. The leadership needs a lot of work. I do not recommend ACA.

There’s no such thing as a perfect school for sure, but sending our children here was sadly a mistake. We had multiple issues, from a teacher not showing up for scheduled teacher conference, feeling unheard & ignored, and my children feeling intimidated & scared by certain staff. Everything I expressed to the school seemed to be met with excuses such as “we are new” or “we’ve got a lot of kinks to work out”. We finally withdrew due to the many frustrations and significant amounts of stress related to our personal experiences. Communication is vital and we feel they certainly missed the mark with our family. Hoping others won’t have to go through what we did.
