My family and I had an absolutely incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The food was beyond amazing, exceeding our highest expectations. What made this experience even more special was seeing my son, who hadn’t smiled in photos for nearly five years, light up with the biggest, genuine smile after this meal. The flavors and presentation were outstanding, and the atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment. We will cherish this memorable visit forever. Highly recommend!

I won't lie, I walked into the Country Pride with very low expectations. Very. Low. As one does at a gas station diner. However, my experience was much better than I expected!
Was waited on immediately by Miss Angie who took my order quickly and got my food out. I ordered the fish and chips cautiously and I was expecting the worst (Minced fish paste and nasty bread crumbs) But to my suprise out comes beautiful pieces of whole fish! Very hot and nice! Even spiced well! I'm a healthcare worker in the area so I'll probably be back! 10/10 good job!

We had a great meal here. We ordered chicken fingers, a salad and a chicken sandwich. Everything was wonderful. Our waitress Nicole was attentive and friendly. There's plenty of parking available, a gas station and convenient store in the area. Access on and off the highway is easy from here.

I guess everyone gets a different experience because judging on the reviews, I was a bit skeptical about dining here. I came in around 2pm for lunch and first off the waitress was very prompt and polite! I ordered the chicken parmesean with spaghetti and the lemon pepper chicken with rice pilaf and broccoli. Both meals were seasoned lightly ( a plus for anyone who doesn’t like heavily seasoned food) yet very tasty! It did not take long for the food to arrive and the waitress didn’t need a tablet to write down the order ( impressive). The atmosphere of the restaurant was quiet and clean. I would definitely dine here again!

Stopped by for a late lunch before heading home (2 & a half hours away). I will say I have never had a bad meal at a truckstop. The chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese on a toasted bun and fresh garden salad were just delicious! Next time, I might have to try the "Smash burger" the one my friend got looked amazing, and he backed that up! He bragged about the fries as well. The others had chicken tenders and fries, I think they all got 6 tenders and a good helping of fries. Funny, they got to-go boxes. I didn't need one because I didn't have snacks on the way up the mountains, I did regret not buying gum (chewing gum while driving up & down the mountains keeps your ears from popping, it keeps your pressure equal). I highly recommend Country Pride at Candor!

Traveling thru, trying to decide where to eat.. came across the sign along the highway and stopped in to give it a try, 11:45am. So glad we did; we had, (from the healthy choice menu), lemon pepper grilled chicken, green beans & broccoli / cajun grilled white fish, green beans & hash browns. Excellent food & service, 😊

I ordered home style fried meat with eggs and toasted biscuits. Oh my god!!! The taste will take somewhere lol. The best breakfast in this region. I am going to by on my way back for sure. The waitress was wonderful.

Little gem of a Diner off the Interstate. Our server Ashley was very kind. Food was fresh. Enjoyed our breakfast.

The servers here are absolutely wonderful- food was slightly lackluster but our wonderful server more than made up for that!

Wow, what a great meal. Everything we ordered was cooked perfect and had great flavor! Our waitress, Hollywood, was a joy. Would definitely recommend stopping if you pass through this way!

We have been traveling and this has been the best service we have received! Ordered the Long Haul and really enjoyed it, the coffee was tasty too! Will definitely make this place a stop if we are back this way.

It’s honestly quite expensive for what it is but with good service and great food it’s worth it. Would recommend checking it out they have a little of everything. Service was amazing.
