Small park tucked away in a neighborhood right off of John's street near downtown Matthews. It's well shaded and has walking paths throughout. There are swings and some playground equipment that's mostly meant for older kids and not much a toddler can use. There are no facilities at the park

Small park in Matthews neighborhood, surrounded by homes, private. New equipment was put in within the past year or two, but is targeted for ages 5 and up. My 3 and 2 year old still enjoy the playground. There are four baby swings, and two big kid swings, plus climbing equipment. Park is fairly maintained, have had issues with seeing trash on the ground. Gazebo area sits three benches for picnics, a ton of birds live inside this gazebo (beware of bird poo).

While not he biggest park out there, it is a wonderful park for the neighborhood, plenty of shade and equipment for children to have fun on, there is a open center area for parents to rest and see the entire park. Lots of shade and coverage.

Great little neighborhood park, plenty of shade and has one pavilion. NO bathroom thus 4 star rating
