Hillman Family Automotive was very honest and thorough with their assessment on our vehicle repair needs. We were very blessed to get a detailed quote and projected cost estimate for repairs needed before work began. I was aware of some of the issues that needed repair but others were pointed out that could have resulted in a safety issue. I am so very thankful that the team at Hillman Automotive took the time to address and repair these issues in a timely manner. The vehicle definitely performs much better than before. We were on a quick trip visiting family and getting ready to drive the 4 hours home when our back rear window came off the track in the down position. And it is supposed to rain. We stopped in an hour before closing. They quickly diagnosed that it wasn’t something that could be fixed quickly, showing us what broke, but set us up with some adhesive non paint damaging wrap that would prevent the rain from coming in. Now we’re on the road! Thank you Hillman Family Automotive!!

Everyone at Hillman Family Auto was so friendly and helpful to me when I had my car towed due yo a sunroof leak. They discovered other issues and talked through everything and worked with me and my finances. I heard horror stories about women being fleeced by unnecessary repairs. But I never felt like that. I will be returning for all future repairs and I highly recommend their services.

I was very pleased with the professional service I received from Hillman Family Automotive. I was having AC problems with my Cadillac Escalade and the technicians jumped on it. Had to schedule everything online and speak with everyone on the phone. Daughter’s car was having issues while at WCU and I am several hours away. Hillman’s is a very professional shop and communicated very well throughout the process. Fair priced in my opinion for the work done. I brought my car to Hillman's Family Automotive for an oil change after doing some research on the best automotive places in the area since I am from Georgia. The employees were friendly and service was completed in a fair amount of time. A few days later, I noticed oil leaking from underneath my car. Coincidentally, Hillman's reached out the next day with a follow-up text on whether I was satisfied or not with my oil change service. I let them know there was an issue and that I was not satisfied. From there they immediately jumped on making sure I was taken care of. Not only did the owner (Ben) contact me over the weekend on his day off to apologize, but Hillman's also had me bring my car back at my convenience to fix the mistake (and also offered to pick up my car and give me a rental if needed), provided a full refund (without me asking), and provided me with 2 free future oil changes (thank you, Will). With all this being said, I feel very appreciative and well taken care of. They could have brushed me off and moved on with their day but they really stepped up to help me and make things right. I will continue to go to Hillman's Family Automotive and definitely recommend them to others.

Hillman Family Automotive is absolutely wonderful. I was visiting from out of town when my oil light came on. They were able to work me in the same day (right before Christmas break), and diagnosed and fixed the problem within a matter of hours. I cannot recommend them enough!

Gotta say I normally don’t leave reviews, but this place is great! Called to see if I could get some new brakes and rotors for my 2017 Chevy Silverado, Will told me to come on in for same day service.. WHAT!! Now a-days that’s unheard of. Also, on my way to the auto shop my engine light came on and they even checked on that for me too. Customer service was fantastic, everyone made me feel very welcomed and they even had complementary coffee, snacks, and water for all of us waiting. When I left my check engine light was off and I got a brand new set of brake and rotors! Price is alittle more than other areas and the wait time was around 3 hours, but with that kind of service it was well worth it. I’ll be back for any other Automotive issues!

Great service, online booking was easy, oil change + tire seal (leaking tire) done in 1.15 hours. No charge to fix leaky tire. Provided recommendations on future service and and a fairly decent waiting area.

I didn’t have first hand experience with them. My son goes to WCU and his car broke down. He had been having trouble and I looked for some mechanics in town. I chose Hillmans based on the reviews. They did not disappoint. The damage was extensive, the clutch, flywheel and rear seals seemed to be the issues and while it seemed expensive, every item I researched looked to be a reasonable price. They communicated with my son and got his car done in time for his drive home for thanksgiving. The car has new life and we have Hillmans to thank.

Great staff... super friendly and informative. Took my car in for an oil change at 8am Monday morning. Was done quick and efficiently. They had all the parts here, even the special synthetic blend my vehicle requires. Will definitely be back!

They were fantastic! They fit me in, have a comfortable waiting room, and they didn't even charge me to look at something and fix a small dent. They are genuinely kind people who care about their customers. :)

This was the best experience I’ve had at a mechanic. I usually hate going to mechanics because they always try to rip you off (especially being a woman). But Hillman was straight forward and didn’t lie and say more was wrong with the car than we already knew. They also got us in and out basically which I thought the work would take all day. You guys will definitely have my business when I need a mechanic again! Thank you guys!

Hillman Family Automotive is great! I came in last week with my car because the check engine light turned on and they were incredibly nice to me! They worked on my car in a timely matter, even though they were extremely busy the whole week. They were transparent in their appraisal of the problems and made it a very smooth process. I would definitely go back if my car had difficulties again.

Always bring my car to hillman- quick as they can be, kind, considerate and helpful in understanding the issues. Transparent and reasonably priced- never felt pressured to make a repair I couldn’t afford. Option for loaner cars if your car is indisposed for a certain period of time. As a woman I have never felt disrespected or made to feel like I don’t/can’t understand issues with my car. Run by a local family!
