Stables Bar & Grill

Was introduced to this spot by friends and what an experience. It's an absolutely stunning interior that somehow isn't loud despite being wood everywhere.

Tried their schnitzel and sausage platter and both were done well. The mashed potato side was pretty amazing. Tried the lava cake and turtle pie and they were quite enjoyable.

Would highly recommend, and will definitely return sooner than later.

Small bar with great food. Not a huge menu but the food we ordered was great. My chicken was fresh and the food got to our table fast. Everything was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly.

Great baked cod on Friday night... In a lemon buttery sauce... I think I found my new favorite Friday fish!

Very friendly service. From the waitress to the chief cook and bottle washer! Our dinner was served on quaint glass plates...
Nice touch!!! But I have to say that our fish wasn't very good. It fell apart and was difficult to couldn't get more than a nibble at a time on the fork....but always room for improvement. You might want to work on the coleslaw also :)
We will stop and give it another go one of these Fridays. Very friendly, small town atmosphere and it's worth another visit to see if the battered fish is better.

Delicious and hot food, good drinks and attentive staff. Most tables are high tops and we had someone in our party in a wheelchair. The staff quickly set up a shorter table with comfortable folding chairs so we could eat and visit without issues. So kind! This was first time visiting Stables for most of our party and they were impressed with both food quality and friendliness.

Went there with my sister-in-law and had Friday fish. Baked cod and it was huge. Received our food fast. I would recommend this place.
