Pisgah Fish Camp

This was my first time eating at PFC in 40 years and the food is sill excellent. I use to eat here every summer before we went camping in the mountains. The wait staff was extra courteous and attentive.

Waynesville nutrition center ate there today after free tour of Aluminum Christmas tree in Brevard and everyone enjoyed all their selections...opens at 11am. Over ten of us and would definitely go back. You won't be disappointed.

What a cute little place with excellent Gramma food! Best chicken livers I've had in years, fantastic onion rings, perfectly fried catfish and, most importantly, SPICED APPLES!! The right kind - all pink and yummy. And they have pickled beets for a side - who still does that?!? My husband's baked beans were the side of the day and were hands-down the most amazingly delicious baked beans I've ever had (I make some good baked beans after learning from a long line of gold standard baked bean grannies!). They were so smokey with just the right amount of sweetness and I was kind of sad I didn't order some too. Prices are really reasonable, the white board walls/big windows give a perfect camphouse vibe, and the food comes out quickly. I will definitely go back.

I love this place. Great food, wonderful family owned and run atmosphere including a lovely mural of a rainbow trout. If you're in the area, be sure to give it a try. Order the onion rings...trust me.

Excellent family environment with a wide array of choices on the menu. Servers/ wait staff excellent. If you wish to tweak certain items to your taste, just let the wait staff know and they'll cater to it.

I was hesitant to go based on the name. I am not big into seafood. They have various other items for land lovers. Burger was excellent, it seemed like I was at an backyard cookout. Key Lime was very good.

Where to begin.

I was visiting a nearby bike shop when the smell emancipating from this place drew us in.

We had a small wait to get in, probably due to the new COVID protocol. But let me tell you, this place was absolutely worth the wait.

I ordered the two-option combination platter and received an entire weeks worth of fried goodness. My to-go plate weighed more than a newborn. This is a two hour drive for me but I will absolutely be back.

The highlights (in my opinion), were the crab cakes and their homemade ranch/tartar sauce.

It 100% slaps.

The food is good. Their shrimp and grits were more Cajun style. Staff were friendly enough. Food prices were up but not a surprise for today's economy.

They were a little busy but many of the servers were chatting with tables and we were on a schedule of 2 hours and had to hurry up and eat the food because of this. The food was great will go back again and if the service is better next time I will change it to 5 stars.

Great seafood restaurant. Very down home atmosphere and food. Something for everyone even if you don't like fish. Always a treat to eat here. Good people.

The trout and the flounder (got the smaller serving) were amazing!!! As were all the sides we ordered… Lexi was a delightful server… would happily take a long detour to find my way back here in the future.

My girlfriend and I both had the grilled trout, which was pretty good for the price. They have homemade dill sauce that we both enjoyed.
The vegetables were quite good. My girlfriend got the baked sweet potato and green beans. I got the fried okra and green beans.
Those green beans were fantastic - they definitely used bacon and seasoning, so we both wanted more.

I had the grilled grouper. It was very good. I would recommend you eat here. It is very good and at reasonable prices.

Catfish platter - good size, great taste! Side dishes, yummy, especially the baked sweet potato! 😋

Everything was lovely, excellent service and the food was great! With good portion size i was full and sleepy by the time we left

Excellent Onion Rings with unique proprietary batter and dipping sauce, a must have for all the onion lovers out there. Best Onions ever.

Fried Catfish and Collars Greens were on point too. Baked potato wasn’t all that.

Excellent food, friendly service, clean restaurant. Wanted to go back on Sunday but they have limited hours.

The Pigah Fish Camp in Brevard, NC gets a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating from Cyndi and me.
The food was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection as well as the staff couldn’t be nicer (especially our server Lexi)!

Had lunch there with a large group of people. Service was fast and friendly, the food was hot and fresh. It’s a nice little restaurant for a quick bite to eat. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Food never disappoints and the staff is always friendly! One of our favorite places!
