During this tough time I was well supported and cared for during the process of setting everything up. Everyone was so helpful and they really care for you and did everything to make sure that your loved one was sent off with the love they deserved. David helped me get my dad the honor he deserved as a veteran. They are very passionate about making sure our veterans are cared for. Thank you so much for the love and support you have shown during that time. Amazing and I highly, highly recommend.

II cannot express enough gratitude for the compassionate and professional service provided by Life and Legacy. Losing both my mother and mother-in-law within six months was incredibly difficult, but they made the process as smooth as possible The cremation services were handled with dignity, and they accommodated all our requests with care. Thank you for easing our burden during such a challenging time.

David and his staff define what it means to be a family business and provide the upmost support during times of unthinkable need. David helped pull our family from our collective shock and sadness and reminded us of the life we were celebrating. My son passed away in September and I am so happy I chose this place. David Cook was amazing and so thoughtful in all the arrangements. He is also a psychologist who offers his services free of charge to the families he serves. They are by far the most reasonable priced funeral home anywhere around and no corners were cut. The coffin we ordered wasn't up to their standards when it came in so we ended up getting a much more expensive one at no extra cost. This is a Christian organization and it shows.

My stepbrother passed in September and my sister passed away a couple weeks ago, just before thanksgiving. We’ve had a lot of loss lately and I can’t say enough good things about the staff, including Mike and David Cook. Not only did they do awesome on my brothers funeral, they did awesome on my sister’s as well.

They went above and beyond to accommodate us and guide me along, this was the first funeral I ever had to plan. They were kind and helpful and unfortunately, with my sister’s funeral, they had to deal with some unpleasant behavior from my mother about jewelry that we had all agreed would go inside the urn with her remains. She didn’t remember that in her grief and lashed out at David. He called me and we talked about things so I would understand. I really appreciated that.

Death and grief are not a glamours part of life but we have to deal with it and this place has been wonderful.

As a funeral director in New York I was called upon to assist in returning a deceased gentleman to Charlotte, NC for burial. His initial request had been for us to utilize the services of another Charlotte area funeral home (one owned by a large corporate entity). I contacted them and was shocked at the extremely high price for a very limited service. After
a few phone calls and research, I arranged for services through Life and Legacy instead. The staff of Life and Legacy represented me and this family well in carrying out our needs in Charlotte. They also provided services at a dramatic and significant financial savings. Balancing professionalism and costs, there is no doubt that in the Charlotte area selecting this funeral home will be a prudent and wise decision.

I can’t say enough good things about good Shepard life and legacy funeral home. Clay was ever so sensitive to our family’s needs and made this tragic time very easy for us. So thankful for the time and energy clay put into giving us a special tribute to my sister.

Amazing service and a place. Clay went above and beyond when it came to accommodations for the family. Was very humble and understanding. They trully understand what it means to loose a loved one. They even took care of the things that we didn't ask for. They just did it out of the goodness of their hearts. God is Great!! Thank you everyone.

Rob & his staff did a great job working with me & my family through the lost our sister Jessie. Worked with us on any changes to services & cost. We were highly recommend to them by our pastor we had as a youth pastor long ago Dennis Benton. They made sure Jessie looked beautiful as a butterfly. They also helped us with a slideshow of old pics for the family to share memories of her. Thank you so much again Rob for everything. They even had their ears talked off by the little girls & took it like champs. They're location was great because it was more centered for everyone to come without feeling put out.
