This unassuming restaurant is tucked away on a side street. The staff is wonderful, the food is always good. I love their fried mushroom, i could eat my weight in potato salad. Its so good. They have some pretty amazing hot dogs and their subs are delicious. Try them out. Its a mom and pop place.

WOW!!! My sock were blown off. The food is so absolutely delicious. I had the Patty melt with loaded fries and bakalva for dessert.

Their Reuben is amazing!

Visiting from out of state and walked across the street from the apartments where my daughter lives. Great experience for a midday meal. Exceptional service and very friendly staff members. Will be back!

Good food, decent prices, and friendly customer service. It was my first visit and I got take out. Everything was delicious. It was cooked fresh and to perfection. We will definitely order again.

This was my first visit after many had recommended the restaurant. I called ahead and ordered their Ruben. The sandwich comes with fries, but I was offered to substitute if needed. About 10 minute travel time and food was ready on arrival. The sandwich was delicious, well prepared and the bread toasted to perfection. Fries were good, hot and it also came with a pickle slice. The restaurant was clean, cozy and easily accessible. Definitely will be back soon.

Cool dive - friendly staff - great food

Their food is delicious, I got a ruben but I don't like rye bread so they gave me sourdough, and extra sourkraut and it was just perfectly crunching but so fresh, like fresh out the barrel, I was dodging traffic on independence so i had to get a sex on the beach, the bartender was the sweetest, loved her.

We are big on local places when we travel and this didn't disappoint. Well worth the visit for no frills good food 😀

Friendly service, reasonable prices, great selection and FANTASTIC food. I go here for my mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms and GREEK SALADS. Seriously, all of the food here is great. Hard to beat.

Been coming here since I was as little boy and have always loved it. Chicken wings are fantastic, and he can make them hot. A little pricey, but thats just everything these days unfortunately. I'd rather give a little extra to a great family owned restaurant than go somewhere like BWW and spend just as much if not more for bland over sugared sauces on wings. Pro tip : Ask for the "green bottle" if you like your wings HOT. It's a homemade sauce the owner has made for years and it is FANTASTIC.

Tried this place on a whim, just based on having homemade baklava. Got the patty melt, as well. Both were to die for, and the owner George was very personable. Working from out of town, but will definitely be back before I leave. Highly recommend

Been there twice now. First time we did a group order for our office. Stellar quality on the food, and quantity had everyone looking like stuffed turkeys on Thanksgiving!
Just picked up a self lunch myself, I would share pics but its all in my belly!!
1. Think Diners, Drive-ins and Dives atmosphere, family all the way.
2. Speed of services great, quality of food, outstanding.
3. The courtesy of the staff in my experience , spot on.

Location is tucked away and easy to miss. If you do miss it, it is worth turning around to get lunch here. I am afraid of the damage this will do to my wallet :)

I started coming here over 20 years ago for the wings...... George makes almost all of the sides and salad dressings from scratch....... delicious food, great portions, and decent price... I had a double meat sandwich today on pumpernickel and it was one of the best things I've had in the longest time.

Just a perfect place to enjoy someone's company over a drink or three, with some good grub. A++++
