The College of Health Care Professions

When first stated started it was just me learning the basics of school again after the first mouth everything felt right. I got to learn a lot of things, being able to volunteer, and visit a Pediatric office. I made lots a friends along that way and when my last month came preparing for the state exam was a breeze. The classes we took (DCP 300, CSP201) are great at helping use be the best as we can for the exam and out in the field. There was also Career Services, they helped us prepare for interviews and give use great advice on what to do and what not to do when seeking a job. It’s sad that my time here was short but I do recommend anyone to join this school. I appreciate staff throughout my journey and will always be grateful for the opportunity of be a CHCP student.

I had an amazing experiences at CHCP, I was part of the Dental assistant program and I loved the experience. Mr. Payne was a wonderful instructor he was always ready to teach you, and he was gonna pushed you to do your best if there was something you didn’t understand during a lecture he was going to find other ways to explain it to you. Ms. Ruffin and Ms. Roland also did a great job preparing us for the state exam and for our externship, career services did a wonderful job in helping us improve our resumes and they did a mock interview to improve our interview skills. I also had the opportunity to volunteer in other activities, and shadow a pediatrician office. I made new friends, and I also expanded my connections. Thank you CHCP for giving me a wonderful experience, and I hope that future students enjoy the process as much as I did.

I was very nervous about attending CHCP at first but when I got in my first module I felt very comfortable & confident in my new journey. Mrs.Green was very welcoming & good with communication. If we needed anything she never hesitated she helped us in every way possible. I would most definitely recommend Mrs.Green. She wasn’t just a teacher who puts on powerpoints she was one who wanted to get to know her students that’s rare. One of the best college instructors I’ve had.

I love this school. Everyone in the administration office are really nice people to chat with. The teachers engage with us all together. If you want to come here to meet new people, get a good education, & learn new things this is the place to come. One of my favorite teachers is Mrs. Roberts. She’s so funny & can keep a great conversation while also making sure we do our work!

I am in Module 3 with Dr.Shaw being my teacher she has been the best teacher thus far, Dr.shaw makes sure you are comfortable with everything that we learn in class, as far as injections and letting us have that hands on experience. She always gives us feedback on our homework and assignments. I can come to Dr.Shaw with any questions I may have and I feel that I won’t be judged! I highly recommend Dr.Shaw for this course!!

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Odell as my teacher for this MOD and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She is an exceptional educator who goes above and beyond to help her students succeed. Whenever you have questions, she is there to answer them or help you anyway she can. I would give her a 5-star rating without hesitation.

Mrs. Rodriguez has been an amazing teacher! I feel like she has really helped me understand radiology and she goes the extra mile to make her students feel cared for. I’m really thankful that she has been my instructor for the majority of my time here as a student and I look forward to my last few months with her!

Love the way Ms. Freeland welcomed my class. She pushed us to be the best version of ourselves everyday. No matter what you’re going through. She makes anything feel possible. Always giving a motivational message for success.

Ms. Ruffin is an amazing instructor!! I ABSOLUTELY love the way my instructor mentors us. She sets us up for success! The school is very well organized, clean, and safe. I would recommend furthering your education here for the program that your heart desires. Thank you CHCP for changing my life for the better.

I highly recommend, Ms.Vi she actually talks to the class and not just read from the power point. She gives us personal experience that’s she have been through. She was great and makes me want to come to her when i need help for my resume or finding a job .

My learning experience is going great. Dr. Shah is the greatest teacher. She takes her time and makes sure we really understand. She was so hands on with injections and made it so easy and simple to learn. She’s a great teacher.

I have enjoyed my time coming in person to class with Professor Thomas on Wednesday and Thursdays. I am also thankful my previous professor from another school told me about this school, Professor Sherita Flowers. My financial aid advisor Jocelyn was also great and answered all my questions.

Having an awesome experience learning EKG and more about the heart. I have such an awesome teacher Ms.Roberts, she’s thought me so much over these few months getting me ready for externship. She has faith in all my classmates including myself and makes learning fun.

This review is strictly for Miss Freeland. She is the best instructor that CHCP has. She is patient and kind with her students. She guides you so graciously while we were doing competencies/clinics. Miss Freeland is very knowledgeable and when you need help with anything she is there. She cares for her students and it shows. She’s willing to work with them if they have to make up assignments. She goes the extra mile for her students. Miss Freeland is a gem at CHCP, she made my experience so much better.

This is my first MOD in Mrs. Odell’s class, and I loved every bit of it. She brings an uplifting, energetic personality to class everyday, which helped me engage in the class setting! Outside of class, she is very consistent with responding to questions and concerns, and is always offering to help out!

Ms. Kesley O'Dell is an exceptional teacher in LMRT who goes above and beyond to ensure her students' success. Her teaching style is both effective and memorable, making it easy to retain information. Despite being strict, her dedication to her students' learning shines through, making her the best teacher I've ever had. I am grateful for her guidance and support, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a top-notch education experience.

Dr.shah is a great instructor. She’s very friendly and patient she makes sure all students have understood their competencies as well as answers any questions we may have. Dr. shah takes her time to make sure we know all terminology as well as proper injection procedures, math and conversions, as well how to help patients use canes, crutches and walkers. Dr shah goes above and beyond to teach explain and encourage all students to learn and practice their skills they have learned and are learning.

Mrs.O’Dell is the best she is very helpful not only that, she is the best teacher I’ve ever had. She teaches so well and is always striving to challenge us to learn the material. I could not of asked for a better teacher than her. Thank you for being my teacher Mrs.Odell

Ms. Rodriguez has been an invaluable presence throughout my LMRT program here at CHCP, and I deeply appreciate her dedication and expertise. Her passion for teaching and commitment to her students have greatly enhanced my classroom experience. Ms. Rodriguez's ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner has made learning enjoyable and rewarding. She goes above and beyond to ensure that each student understands the material, and her encouragement and support have fostered a positive learning environment. I am grateful for her guidance and mentorship, which have undoubtedly contributed to my growth and success in the program. I want to thank her for not only giving me the best education but also being patient with me and my ups and downs throughout the program. Her hard work goes unnoticed, and I appreciate everything she has done for me through my time with her.

My experience of being a LMRT student at Chcp has been phenomenal starting off with the environment and the well being of every staff member of the college. This is my last module before my MA course and to say that Mrs Odell is my last wheel instructor, she makes it nearly impossible to be confused on any criteria of the course because of her hand on PowerPoint packets, great lectures and answers any of my questions I have.
