Homestead Parklands County Park

This is my go-to for a gorgeous hike year round.

Been here a couple of time, FYI there is some construction going on so expect detours as of 08/2021, The lake itself is very nice. You can have dogs as long as it's leashed and they also rent out paddleboats, kayaks, etc. nice location to be with the family. Also, there is very limited parking close to the lake in regards to where they rent the paddleboats, there is a section where you can unload but you have to park on top of the hill if you can't find lower parking.

Beautiful park with lots of features. There are no motors allowed on the lake so it is very quiet. There are lots of well-maintained paths. The playground is large and friendly to a wide range of ages. I've been told that despite the small size of the lake, it is more than 90 feet deep with lots of large fish for you anglers out there.

Everyone has an amazing time every time we go there, the cleanest water you have ever seen in a lake.

Great County Park, clean water, nice beach, water rentals. Hiking trails and beautiful nature. Please remember to leave the loon alone.
Park hours do not reflect water rental hours thiugh.

What a great park If you go on the weekends make sure you get there early parking can be a little bit of a nightmare. Also if your planning to go to the swimming beach go down to the boat launch drop all your party off and then go have someone go park the car. Really Saturday is not the best day to go It is just far too busy.

Nice little park, the water looked beautiful, it was too hot for me to walk the trails and quite busy to really check out the waterfront area, but I will surly be back to check it out!

Beautiful facilities and deep water lake. Playground, picnic area but limited parking. Love it. Great teaching location.

Great park in the middle of nowhere where you never have to worry about crowds!
