We are traveling for 5 months in our camper, found this on Google, while its an older rv park and spots are close, its clean, quiet, bathroom is stocked, my dog is welcome. Shower is clean and the water hot, pressure is lacking, but reasonable. Nice laundry. Lack of picnic table and fire rings but again, we have our own.

We are leaving the campgrounds today. We were here for the weekend. It was the most peaceful place I have been to. We have a 10 year old son and a 14 year old daughter and they did not complain one bit. They staff was very friendly and interactive with my son. It was just a great place with friendly people. If you are looking for a quiet getaway I recommend this campground.

This is a nice park on a small lake. Most of the sites near the water have nice porches with lattice sides. The pool is clean and water temp is perfect. There is a store with snack food and some rv goods. Showers are clean and there is a laundry room as well.

Beautiful location by the water under tall mature trees. Love the proximity to Knoxville and the setting. The folks that run the place are super nice and friendly. Thank you Southlake for making our transition into Tenn an easier one.

Thank for the our stay! We had to drop our dog Sky at UT veterinary hospital for leg surgery. We weren’t sure of our arrival time back to the campground to hook up and take off. The campground office called us to see how appointment was and not to worry about departing at check out time. That was so sweet of them! Thank you for thinking of our baby!

Very nice park! Potholes but go slow and you’ll be fine!

We loved Southlake. They will always be where we started this adventure, and the fact that we're maintaining relationships with people while on the road says a lot. The owners are great! Their children are great! The grounds manager is a no BS kinda guy, which is needed for campgrounds, and his family was great as well. Don't pass this place up. Worth it, fish at the lake, have a campfire while doing it. I hope we can make our way back.

I think this campground is underrated. We stayed at A14 and LOVED it. When I called to make our reservation we only planned on staying two nights. I explained we'd like to have a sight close to the water so we could do a little fishing. It was a perfect spot for us. The lady who made my reservation did an excellent job of picking our site. We loved it so much we decided to stay two more nights. The campground was clean. It is clear they are working very hard to be a 5 🌟 campground. The sites are sloped and definitely need to take extra blocks if you want your camper perfectly level. We were fine with it, but I have read reviews of others who were not. We had no trouble with our electricity or water. I wasn't able to get the cable to work on my TV but it was probably something I was doing wrong trying to program it, however the local stations came in fine I think there were 30 some air channels. We wasn't there long enough through the day to watch TV anyway so it really didn't make a difference for us. The deck was nice touch to the site. I did use the laundry facility and found it to be clean and maintained. It doesn't have laundry soap vending machine so be sure you bring it or stop in to the camp office and pick up some before they close. I loved the puzzles on the walls. Our experience over all was here was wonderful and we will definitely be returning.

My family and I just spent 8 nights at Southlake RV Park and we absolutely loved it! Everything is clean and well-kept, the view of the lake is incredible, and everyone is just so nice there! I wish we lived closer so that we could stay here more regularly, but we will be back someday and definitely recommend to others who are looking to RV camp in Tennessee!

Only suggestion that I would make is to have a sign identifying all of the wildlife. I was trying to get pictures of all the birds so that I could identify them, but I'm very much a bird nerd so that may not be a common request! 🤣It was beautiful waking up to the birds singing each day and watching the squirrels play. ❤

Wayne and the staff are super helpful. We love the lake, just make sure to have your fishing license.

This places rocks. It’s peaceful and there’s tons of activities the office runs throughout the month (YOGA). Love that this campground is so retro. So much easier to feel more connected with nature when you cant hear a ton of traffic even if we’re right next to a hwy. Wish some trees were trimmed a little further back, more rock laid in spots and plumbing rigged to go down hill but those are my only complaints. I definitely recommend!!!!

We were able to make reservations online as we were traveling. We arrived late and left early. Our impression was that it was a nice place to stay. There was a lake right back of the spot we stayed in, as well as a small deck right outside our door.

I lost my credit card on the site, which someone turned in to the office. The kind lady in the office took the time to look up my phone number and let me know. Though I didn't meet them, it is obvious they care.

I know one shouldn't let first impressions enter your head, especially after a long weekend's hard work at the nearby Smokey Mountains Highland Games and Celtic Festival. We arrived on Sunday night and I have to say what entered my mind was not great. However, after a splendid night's sleep and a lengthy walk around the park on Monday morning in brilliant sunshine, I have to say this is a lovely, small-ish park. The walk down to the lake is very pleasant, the amenities are fine, access to Knoxville, Maryville, and other Tennessee attractions like Pigeon Forge and Dollywood is pretty straightforward to the point of easy. The staff are really warm and friendly, and having a guide to get us into our spot was really helpful. Unlike many other parks we've stayed at, the long term and full time residents keep their sites neat and tidy. If there was any slight negative, the sites are a little close together, but the positives cancel this out easily.

Lovely park, would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed two days at this hospitable park. Jerry, Geno and Wayne were fantastic hosts at this facility. We stayed a total of five different RV campsite on our cross country journey and by far this was the best place to rest or has and relax.According to the top 10 RV campsites in Knoxville, it was rated number two and by far she claimed the rankings to number one. I've been a long term resident here since August and have been very happy. Despite the sites being closer together than some campgrounds, it is still very quiet and peaceful here. My neighbors and the office staff are very friendly. The only downsides are limited parking and the internet is weak, at best. Great views and I safe feel.

Love this rv park. Friendly neighbors. Most of the time very quiet. Lake right next door for fishing or kayaking. Dog friendly. Rules in place to keep everyone safe and happy. Full hookups and some spots have little porches. Super nice place to get away from the Hussle and bustle of city life. Lots of trees, birds and squirrels.

Nice park we stayed in a 80ft pull through site with our camper. We brought along our dogs and we're able to walk them along side the river/lake to a nice grass area in the back of the park.
Owner was nice and greeted us as we arrived and explained everything I needed to know

This is a nice private campground. Some friends and I tent camped here for a couple nights on Memorial Day weekend. The staff is very friendly and the sites are well situated right on the lake. The pool and showers we're well kept up. It's not fancy - but it's a campground. I would definitely recommend this place and camp again if I'm in Knoxville.
