Caney Fork River Rentals

Wonderful experience with my 2 boys. We had so much fun the first day we went back the next day. We went down the Caney last year because we saw the billboards for a competitor. The other company goes out of the way to bash this business, it really is pathetic. If you want to have a better feel for this area go with Caney Fork River Rentals. The owners have been in the area for generations and will give you great history lessons, if you seem interested, on the shuttle over. The other guys seem way too touristy and overcharge for their “fees and service”. All the locals go with Caney Fork River Rentals for a reason. Pick this company and ask for the REAL story behind the self proclaimed Pirate of the Caney… the name is fitting.

AMAZING! The owners were great to work with. We changed from a canoe to a kayak when we got there and they were right on it. Check in is quick! You aren’t far from where you are put in and about a mile or so back from where you are picked up. I have always used a different rental company but I will definitely switch to Caney Fork River Rentals from now on. Thank you CFRR! Keep up the good customer service and work!

This was an absolutely beautiful experience.

The river was so scenic and awesome. The family at Caney Fork Rentals took care of absolutely everything: great kayaks, transportation, a store with bait and last minute items, etc. It is a must do. Highly recommended.

Every year we kayak down the Caney. We rely on this team to get us in the water and pick us up afterwards. They're on top of when the dam is generating and put safety before profit. Highly recommended!

This place and the people here are amazing. The most friendly and helpful staff I’ve ever encountered. I brought my family here to Kayak the Caney. My Sister in Law is handicapped, and they not only upgraded her to a larger kayak that was easier and more comfortable for her, but provided constant help and attention throughout. They have definitely won me and my family as customers and I will be visiting here every chance I get and will purchase all of my kayaks and gear from them as well!

Our rental experience was great! It was our first time kayaking and specifically kayak fishing. The staff answered all of our questions. Offered up a lot of good info on the trip, including what to do with the dam generation. Family owned and operated. Would definitely choose over other companies due to level of service.
Easy process with the shuttle and timing of our reservation was seamless.

On Sunday 5/29/2022 I took my family of 5 on the 6 mile canoe trip of the Caney River and had a great time. The owner of the store was very helpful explaining the trip and telling us exactly what to be on the lookout for. The driver was very polite and got us to our drop off on time and was there to pick us up once we were done as she said she would. I would definitely make this trip again and will recommend friends and family to canoe the Caney. Thanks for a great time.

Caney Fork River Rentals was great. They were so helpful with making sure we rented the right kayak for each family member. The whole experience was easy from start to finish, and we loved that it was family owned and operated. It was a beautiful and relaxing trip, we will definitely be going back.

We’ve rented from this place multiple times! Staff is always friendly. The shuttle service is always prompt and efficient for getting you on and off the water. The little corner store has the best food and friendly service. I highly recommend renting from them.

This is the original canoe rental place on the Caney Fork River. Been doing business with this family for 33 yrs and its always a pleasure. Today another trip down River without a flaw. Also this is only company thats picks you up when u want to be picked up after your trip. Others you ha e to walk up a steep hill and wait 39 mins to be picked up. Caney Fork River Rentals located next to Big Fork Market is the only company ill ever use when canoeing the Caney Fork River.

Nice staff and we had a awesome time. We are from Jacksonville,FL and use this rental for canoeing every time we visit. We had 12 people with us and we all enjoyed our trip. Thank you for a wonderful time

I had a great time on the river. The service was tremendous. There are a ton of fish on the river, and the water was fast enough to keep moving, but not enough to roll over the canoe.

Wow! Hand dipped ice cream and lots of stuff you might need.
Lady was very friendly and store appeared very clean and very well organised.
Gotta stop here if you are in the area.
